Dharavi Bank Ending Explained: Is It the Beginning of Thalaivan’s End?

Dharavi Bank is streaming on MX Player and the drama is receiving mixed reviews from the audience. The show, primarily shot in the slums of Dharavi is the story of Dharavi’s kingpin Thalaivan and his 30,000 crores worth of a business empire.

Directed by Samit Kakkad, the series is produced by Percy Jamshedji, Sumeet Mishra and Gautam Talwar under the banner of Zee Studios. Suniel Shetty as Thalaivan has owned the screen and Vivek Oberoi is acing it as the Joint Commissioner of Police.

The final episode of the crime thriller is called Koi Bhi Nahi Bachega and writer Sarthak Dasgupta has justified the title. The episode shows some of the most prominent characters of the series being murdered by each other.

At the beginning of the episode, Thalaivan’s elder son, Shiva leaves his younger brother’s boyfriend, Kamal in a bloodbath. Kamal calls Veerebhadra and tells him about Shiva’s actions. He then dies, leaving Veerebhadra extremely devastated.

In an attempt to seek revenge, Veere shoots his elder brother multiple times and flees the crime scene. Jayant reaches the place and is happy to know that Thalaivan has also lost his son.

Parallel to this, the police have found Sakina’s corpse. Mahesh is puzzled and heartbroken after seeing Sakina’s dead body. He decides to stay in India and join Deepa after a few months. Deepa ends her relationship with Mahesh because of his mixed feelings. The police catch Sakina’s murderer and an angry Mahesh beats him to death.
Thalaivan is devastated upon learning about his elder son’s death. He blames himself and his karma for the situation. The gangster also remembers the time when he killed Jayant’s 10-year-old son and regrets it.

Veerebhadra seeks help from Michael, who chooses his loyalty to the gangster and hands over the boy to his father. It is a testing time for the mafia, who is known for being a man of principles. Overwhelmed with emotions, the gangster slaps and hugs his son, only to leave him to die in the butcher’s hand. Veerebhadra is mercilessly slaughtered by the butcher and this puts a big question mark on the future of the underworld business.

An inconsolable Thalaivan is now rethinking his actions but is also thinking about the future of his billion-dollar empire, Dharavi Bank. He has already proposed a business plan with the reigning Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Janvi Surve forcing her to abort her operation “Hit Thalaivan”.

The show ends with the criminal calling Jayant Gavaskar and his police force into the world of Dharavi. He challenges Gavaskar to end everything and is ready to face the police one last time.

Will there be a Dharavi Bank Season 2?

The last episode of Dharavi Bank was full of twists and turns. While most of these twists were predictable, some came as a shocker to all of us. It will be interesting to see how Thalaivan deals with the loss of two sons. His daughter Deepa has already jetted off to New York to start a new life and the Dharavi Bank in charge is left alone to deal with the mess.

Will Deepa return to take over her father’s business? Will the OG surrender in front of Jayant Gavaskar? Will Jayant Gavaskar finally kill his son’s murderer?

Dharavi Bank ended on a cliffhanger with many mysteries. Will the CM accept Thalaivan’s proposal? Will Thalaivan come to know about Joe’s game? Why has Deepa stayed silent? How did Janvi Surve’s husband die?

With so many unanswered questions, we are hoping that MX Player soon announces a second season of the show.
