Demon Slayer Season 4 Ending Explained
Who caused the explosion that killed Ubuyashiki?

When everything blew up around Muzan and Ubuyashiki, many might have been confused as to who caused such a wide-scale explosion that killed half of the Ubuyashiki family and tore Muzan into bits and pieces. Well, the explosion was not orchestrated by the main villain but rather by Kagaya Ubuyashiki himself because he wanted to give Hashiras the opportunity to kill Muzan once and for all. Thus, he planted explosives in his own home beforehand and lured Muzan into a false sense of superiority over others before detonating the bomb.
What happens to Ubuyashiki and his family?

Ubuyashiki sacrificed himself, his wife, Amane and his two older daughters, Hinaki and Nichika, by blowing his house and its surroundings up. It has not been confirmed whether his daughters and his wife knew about his plan, but I believe they knowingly refused to leave Ubuyashiki’s side. On top of that, their presence acted as a plus as it did not raise suspicion within Muzan, and he mistook Ubuyashiki’s deteriorating physical condition as a sign of his weakness.
Ubuyashiki’s plan was successful because of their tragic sacrifice.
Why was the house not guarded?

Considering that Ubuyashiki is the head of the Demon Slayer Corps, one might think that he will have more guards protecting him. But that is not the case, and Ubuyashiki himself was strictly against anyone protecting him or his family. According to him, this is wasteful as the Hashiras are far more precious for doing something like this. Not just him, but all the heads before him refused to place guards around them as well.
Where was everyone transported?

Muzan, in an attempt to save himself and wipe out the Demon Slayers once and for all, makes Nakime transport all his enemies to the Infinity castle. Here, Muzan can easily separate the demon slayers and make them fight against the remaining Twelve Kizuki members or his other demons.
Why Zenitsu did look so serious in Infinity Castle?

When falling inside the Infinity Castle, Inosuke showcased the ideal expression we expect from him. He was excited with this experience, wore his mask and prepared himself for the battle. However, Zenitsu, who was supposed to freak out, looked deathly calm even when awake. He tucks his sword in and falls without his signature screaming, or crying. This is because he is preparing for his own revenge against someone from the past.
Where is Nezuko?
Nezuko was with Sakonji Urokodaki, who kept her in a place Muzan could never find. Thanks to him, the Hashiras could fight with Muzan and his demon in peace, knowing that he was there to protect Nezuko, their biggest asset.
