Delicious in Dungeon Episode 3 Preview: In the previous episode, we saw Laios and his guild members try to find eggs to eat. But, they land themselves in major problems with a chicken/snake monster. From February 2014 to September 2023, this manga unfolded in Enterbrain’s manga magazine, Harta, and Yen Press snagged its rights for North America. On the other hand, Trigger is the one producing this anime series, and it’s hitting the screens in January 2024.
Yoshihiro Miyajima will be the director of the upcoming series, and the scripts will be written by Kimiko Ueno. The character designs are by Naoki Takeda, and the music is by Yasunori Mitsuda and Shunsuke Tsuchiya. The show is scheduled to debut on January 4, 2024, on Tokyo MX and other networks. Netflix will start simuldubbing and streaming the series worldwide every week on the same day. The series will last for two consecutive cours.
The opening theme song, Sleep Walking Orchestra, will be performed by Bump of Chicken, and the ending theme song, Party!!, will be performed by Ryokuoushoku Shakai.

A crazy magician sinks the Golden Kingdom underground, and its king promises his treasure to anyone who can beat the perpetrator. This is why guilds start exploring a dungeon to find the magician. Laios, the leader of one guild, faces a dragon that destroys his team and eats his sister Falin.
Undaunted, Laios, along with Marcille, an elven healer, and Chilchuck, a halfling thief, returned to the dungeon, determined to rescue Falin, not caring about losing all their supplies. Time-pressing, Laios suggested the taboo of consuming dungeon monsters for nourishment.
During their first attempt at this unconventional meal, a dwarf named Senshi intervened. A connoisseur of monster cuisine, Senshi aided in safely preparing the ingredients. Learning of Laios’ plight, Senshi shared his peculiar desire to cook a dragon, ultimately joining their guild.
Thus, the quartet embarked on a food-filled odyssey, navigating the dungeon’s challenges while uncovering the culinary potential of its creatures. Their journey, driven by a shared purpose, unfolded as an extraordinary and perilous quest to rescue Falin and reveal the secrets hidden beneath the earth’s surface.

The plot will most likely include Laios going on a journey to save his sister from the dragon, even when he has no idea whether she is alive or not.
The outcome of his journey is still difficult to predict as we do not know what fate has for him and his friends.

In this anime, we will witness the escapades of Laios, Marcille, Chilchuck, Senshi, and Falin. Other than them, we might also see Izutsumi, Kensuke, Namari, Shuro, etc.
