Dated and Related is an upcoming dating reality TV series coming on Netflix in the month of September. The show has released the teaser for the show and we can’t fathom the concept that is going to be executed on the show. Popular for shows like Too Hot to Handle and Love Is Blind, the OTT platform is back again with another wacky dating show.
The synopsis under the teaser reads, “Is this about to be the most awkward dating show in history? Dated and Related is a brand-new reality series featuring pairs of siblings searching for ‘the one’ together. Will they be each other’s ultimate wingman, or scuttle their siblings’ plans completely?”
Imagine having to think about your sibling dating, how they flirt, how they treat their partners, and what their signature moves are. In this dating series, pairs of siblings will be seeing each other’s love life up close and personal as they search for their partner together.

Having a person who knows you better than anyone should help you navigate the tricky world of dating. But will they act as the ultimate wingman and help you find love? Or spill water on your plans and call you out on all your bullshit? Either way, it might just be awkward as hell.
The teaser starts off looking like a sketchy promotional video to recruit gullible people in some ridiculous scheme. Anyway, they say that, imagine being swept away to a luxury villa in the South of France. You’re there to find love in the most romantic country in the world
with other gorgeous singles. But there’s a catch.
What you already know by now, is to bring your sibling along. Followed by some clips of contestants asking questions about sharing the bed, and experiencing kissing in front of their sibling to awkward dinner dates where your casual flirting seems to fail. But it’s good that the creators are self-conscious enough to put in the question that we all have been thinking about.
Why would anyone do this? To which they immediately reply – because finding love isn’t easy. Well, that’s true and I guess these cringe shows bring in more popularity and profit to the platform than the quality shows they have been axing recently.
