Dated and Related is the latest dating reality TV series released on Netflix on 2nd September 2022. The show follows pairs of siblings who see each other’s love life up close and personal as they search for ‘the one’ together. Will they act as the ultimate wingman to help each other to find love? Or scupper their plans?
Hosted by Melinda Berry (who, as a previous Too Hot to Handle contestant, knows that falling in love isn’t always easy) and also has 14 brothers and sisters herself. There are 10 episodes in total with a runtime of about 40-50 minutes respectively.

Having a person who knows you better than anyone should help you navigate the tricky world of dating. But will they act as the ultimate wingman and help you find love? Or hinder your plans and call you out on all your bullsh*t? Either way, it might just become awkward as Hell or maybe not.
Sibling pairs from across the world arrive at a luxurious villa in the south of France for the chance to find love. The original cast includes six pairs, with everyone from blond party-girl sisters, Lily & Mady Bajor, self-described “Paris Hilton cowgirls” from Texas to two Norwegian/Iranian bombshells Diana & Nina Parsijani, identical twins living in London.
Other families include Joey & Corrina Roppo, a brother-and-sister duo from Seattle who wants partners to jive with their active lifestyles and Christian values; Kaz & Keiran Bishop, charming twins from London who already have tons of experience in wingmanning each other; Jason Cohen and Chris Hahn, Italian cousins from New Jersey who are more like brothers; and Deyon and Dyman Miller, a brother and sister from Florida who couldn’t be more opposite.
Throughout the show, there are some challenges and missions given to the siblings and the winning pair gets to choose who they will take on a double date. In the first episode itself, we see pairs of twins setting eyes on each other, while a love triangle situation arises between Kaz, Diana and Corrina.

Kaz is definitely desired by many in the villa and on the ladies’ side, Diana & Nina are the most popular duo. But soon people start pairing up with each other and those who couldn’t, well, they got some bad news. The show moves quickly, if you aren’t making the moves to find a partner or not helping your sibling enough, then you will be soon eliminated.
No other show hates its host as much as the contestants here do. As soon as they see Melinda walking in, smiles turn down and they all are swearing for their life, as she always comes bearing some bad news. But as many people go, some new pairs come to the show and often disturb the dynamics between the older contestants.
Also, the dress code on the show is obviously bikinis and swimwear, otherwise, how will they show their gym sculpted bodies? And if you are one of the rare people who tuned in thinking that the show would be about incest, then there’s just one element that might be of interest to you – siblings are made to share the bed together.
Summing Up: Dated and Related
The show has made its way to the list of cringe and trashy dating shows produced by Netflix. However, compared to other shows in the same genre, it falls flat and will soon bore the hell out of you. As soon as the contestants are introduced, you can see through all their shallow personalities and who will make it to the end.
There is some drama here and there between some ladies, but they all get well together eventually. However, my question is how did they find such amicable siblings who get along so well with each other, with no fight between any of them? It’s more of a relationship-building show between the siblings than it is for the lovers.
