What happens after the video gets released?

The consequences of the video are instantaneous and absolutely shattering. Just like that, Tae-seop’s whole plan and bright future go up in smoke now that everyone knows that his wife was having an affair with her co-star. For obvious reasons, Tae-seop completely loses his mind because it directly affects his political career. Public opinion completely turns against him, and Tae-seop also gets beaten up by Yang-mi’s ex-husband, who had put his money on Tae-seop.

What was Sang-ah’s reaction to everything?

Sang-ah learns that Jeong-won was the original mole. She’s also the one who drugged Sang-ah and created a scenario where they would get intimate. When Tae-seop comes to confront her, a huge fight breaks out between the two, and it reveals just how fragile their marriage had been. It was something that was bound to fail precisely because the love factor was never present between them.

Sang-ah was not capable of loving Tae-seop, and it was apparent that Tae-seop carried a doomed interest for her which she was not ready to reciprocate.

What was the most impactful scene from this episode?

The most impactful and surprising aspect of this episode is the conversation that we see between Tae-seop’s sister and Sang-ah. Sang-ah’s sister-in-law absolutely rips Sang-ah for destroying her brother’s life and says it to her face that she knew Sang-ah would stab Tae-seop in the back. However, even after saying all these things, she accepts that Sang-ah had been a victim because she was filmed without her consent.

Not only that, but she also made sure to feed Sang-ah and even dress her wounds. After talking to her, something snaps within Sang-ah, and she decides to get her life back on track.

Why did Yang-mi do all of this in the first place?

From the very beginning, it was apparent that Yang-mi had a specific hatred towards Sang-ah. But in this episode, it finally becomes clear why she wanted Sang-ah’s downfall so badly. There is a high chance that Yang-mi is smitten with Tae-seop, who was very keen on not cheating on his wife. Here, it becomes apparent that she would only let Tae-seop and Sang-ah go if Yang-mi manages to get her hands on Tae-seop.

And she actually gets what she wanted.

What happens to Jeong-won?

Jeong-won becomes one of the most important characters in this episode because of how impactful her presence was. She single-handedly destroyed Sang-ah and Tae-seop, but also did something that could save them.

The way her story turned out was definitely something that I did not expect.

Did Tae-seop and Sang-ah accept defeat?

Towards the end, it is showcased that Tae-seop might have accepted defeat and gone along with Yang-mi’s whims because it suited his interests. However, that’s not something that might happen in the next episode. Perhaps Tae-seop is waiting for the right time to play his final card.

What worked and what did not?

The overall mystery of the series definitely worked, and the twists and turns were just great to witness. The emotional elements that come up from time to time also fare pretty well, as they showcase just how vulnerable the characters are.

But the way Jeong-won’s journey turned out was something that felt a bit abrupt and unnecessary. Ultimately, it would be interesting to see how this series will come to an end.
