On January 23rd, 2025, the South Korean Boyband CIX THUNDER music video was released and fans cannot help but love the electrifying song that is making us move. The song is the title track of the band’s seventh mini album THUNDER FEVER.
CIX (short for Complete In X) is a four-member boy band that debuted on July 23, 2019, with the EP Hello Chapter 1. Hello, Stranger. Originally a five-member group, Bae Jin-young left the group in August 2024. The group now consists of the members BX, Seunghun, Yonghee, and Hyunsuk.
The band makes its comeback with their seventh mini album THUNDER FEVER consisting of five tracks namely- Bad Moves, THUNDER, Lovers or Enemies, My Name is Shadow, and My Everlasting Sun. Before jumping into anything else, I have to say that this song is not just catchy but consists of vocals that will make you swoon. The beautiful voices of the members that so beautifully harmonise will leave you stunned as you see yourself playing the song once again. The vocals of this group are no joke and they’ve really brought me to amazement with the chemistry of these four members.
Coming back to the music video, it is stunning, electrifying, and simply explosive. The colours in the video and the explosions here and there are going so well with the overall feel of the song that you find everything coming together smoothly. This is a destructive completion that only makes the vibe even better for the viewers who are literally finding themselves bobbing their heads to this song.
This group is really talented and this talent shines throughout the music video that is so wonderfully brought together that I’m impressed. Then there are the dance moves that only make the overall vibe of the music video even better and I am hardly able to look away from the video. And if this wasn’t enough then there is also the cinematography that is so beautiful, and filled with the power of thunder and lighting. This truly brings out the song’s power and theme, once again leaving me impressed.
But what really catches my attention are the lyrics that speak of thunder while making its connection with love. This connection is what really catches my attention as I begin to see the explosive energy that goes in both thunder and love. The power in them both are really well connected and the way these lyrics so smoothly combine them is what will keep you hooked to the song.
Altogether, this song has won my heart and I am excited to check out the other songs of this album. The band has made a powerful comeback and I’m ready to see what else they have to offer this upcoming year. I’m glad to see the energy of this group so high with just four members, and hope to see them shine brighter in the future.
