Christopher Nolan Movies are re-releasing, and we cannot keep calm. Nolan’s films are no less than life-changing experiences for cinephiles, and to watch them again in the theatres is exactly what he would want too. He makes his films for the big screen which is the only way to relish his cinematic masterpieces. But there are many of us who didn’t get to watch the films at the theatres and only wished it was possible.
Fulfilling our wish is PVR which has decided to bring back the director’s earlier works ahead of Oppenheimer’s release on July 21. The films include Inception, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Interstellar and Dunkirk. The screenings will go on from July 17 till July 20. While this sounds like a film festival, many of us might not be able to be a part of it. But don’t despair. If you won’t be able to watch them at the theatres, we are here to help you know where you can stream them.

Christopher Nolan Movies and Where You Can Stream Them
Interstellar
Nolan’s own space odyssey, Interstellar, is available on Netflix. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Wes Bentley, David Gyasi and Michael Caine, it shows what happens when a former NASA astronaut, and his team, are tasked to find another habitable planet because Earth is about to become uninhabitable. If you are planning to watch only one of the films being re-released by PVR, go for this one.
The Dark Knight Trilogy
All three films of The Dark Knight Trilogy (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises) are available for rent on Amazon Prime Video. The greatest-of-all-time comic book adaptation, the trilogy catapulted Batman’s character from comic books to theses topics, as well as a topic of debate and discussion among movie lovers. They gave us three great actors in the form of three great villains, namely Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow, Heath Ledger as The Joker and Tom Hardy as Bane. And, of course, the great Christian Bale nailed it as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Inception
Nolan’s mind-bending thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Elliot Page, Tom Hardy, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, is available on Netflix. It deals with the concept of stealing information or manipulation by trespassing into people’s dreams. The film also explores the dream-within-a-dream concept and showcases it in a mind-bending way that will simply leave you enthralled. One of my favourite movies of all time, I ended up buying books on lucid dreaming after watching this one.

Dunkirk
A war film showcasing World War II, Dunkirk shows how soldiers of England, France and Belgium try to survive in the coastal city of Dunkirk, France, while being surrounded by German forces from all sides and the execution of Operation Dynamo that led to the evacuation of the soldiers. What makes the film brilliant is how it explores the atmosphere of war from the perspectives of land, air and water. The cast includes Harry Styles, Fionn Whitehead, Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh and Cillian Murphy. It is available for rent on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
The following two movies won’t be re-released, but since we are talking about Nolan’s movies, their mentions are necessary.
Tenet
Another mind-bending science fiction film from the mind of Nolan, this one deals with the concept of manipulation of time. Better than me explaining in detail, I suggest you watch the film and enjoy it as much as you can. Most people won’t be able to get it on the first go, but that’s what makes it interesting, i.e. watching it again. Just remember the word, “TENET”. It is available for rent on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV and stars John David Washington and Robert Pattinson.
The Prestige
Two magicians. One tragedy. Numerous sacrifices. Shocking consequences. The Prestige, featuring Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman, is a psychological thriller that deals with science and magic. Read that again. Filled with twists and revelations, it won’t be wrong to say that Nolan proved that he is a magician as far as film-making is concerned. The film is available for rent on Amazon Prime Video.
