Character Dheela 2.0 song from the upcoming film Shehzada has been released after much anticipation. It is a re-created version of Salman Khan’s famous song from the film Ready, which also features Zarine Khan. In the original, they had created scenes from famous Hindi classic films, whereas in this version they take the audience to a dance club.
Shehzada is an upcoming action drama film which is said to be a remake of the 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. It is directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by T-Series Films, Haarika & Hassine Creations, Geetha Arts and Brat Films. It follows the life of Bantu, who has been hated by his father since he was a child. Later, as Bantu grows, he realises that Valmiki isn’t his real father rather he is the son of a millionaire industrialist.
The cast of film stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead role. Along with Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, Sachin Khedekar, Ankur Rathee, Sunny Hinduja, Shalini Kapoor, Rakesh Bedi, Ali Asgar, Rukh Nabeel and Ashwin Mushran.

While Salman Khan’s number was all about recreating the iconic scenes, the new version takes us to the dance club vibes with the dark and neon aesthetic lights. It starts off with a rap section and shows Kartik Aaryan holding up a bottle of milk and drinking. The lyrics are also changed for the verses however the iconic tune is still the same and hits us with nostalgic memories.
Another thing to note is the trippy visuals which look like we are watching through a prism/glass where the images multiply. The dance choreography in the chorus is quite sleek and may make you groove along as well. From dancing with his t-shirt to swiftly moving backwards on the dance floor, the actor pulls it off in style.
The song is sung by Neeraj Shridhar and the lyrics are written by Ashish Pandit, while music is recreated by Abhijit Vaghani and the original composer Pritam has also taken part in the composition of the song. The dance is choreographed by Bosco-Caesar.
