Castaway Diva Overview
Castaway Diva (무인도의 디바) is a Korean rom-com that tells the story of a woman stranded on an island for 15 years and how she comes back into society and tries to pursue her dream to be an idol. Directed by Oh Choong-hwan, the drama stars Park Eun-bin, Kim Hyo-jin, Chae Jong-hyeop, Cha Hak-yeon, Kim Joo-heon, and Lee Re, alongside other cast members.
The Kdrama tells the story of Seo Mok-ha who dreams of becoming a singer, however, an incident leaves her stranded on a deserted island where she survives for 15 years. Now, she is finally rescued, but times have changed and circumstances make achieving her dream challenging. Will she be able to become a singer and get her stage?
Castaway Diva takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9:20 PM KST timeslot previously held by Arthdal Chronicles season 2.

Castaway Diva Episode 8 Prediction
An outing brings Mok-ha and Bo-geol closer, but are the feelings that they share similar to what she has felt all this while? Meanwhile, Ran-joo decides to exit Mok-ha’s life when she is called to join Seo-jun’s agency as an artist. As she contemplates the events, becoming famous is the way to save Bo-geol and his family. On the other hand, an old woman arrives at the Kang’s house and introduces herself as Yoon Ran-joo.
Finally, Jung Bong-wan is ready to meet his long-lost family despite the trauma he has given to them. What will Mok-ha and Bo-geol do now?
Castaway Diva Episode 7 Recap
Bo-geol’s decision creates waves as Mo-rae is reluctant to perform while Ran-joo’s insecurities rise as she believes that Mok-ha will betray her like Mo-rae. Mok-ha assures her of her loyalty and after a thought, she begins to accept this change that has appeared. Later, Mok-ha prepares for her debut, but her change renders her unrecognisable to those who see her as an island girl.
Later, she checks the stage for her performance but gets suspicious about Bo-geol’s identity as Ki-ho’s memories rise whenever he is involved. Soon, the show begins and Ran-joo confesses what she did and how she did this so that the world could hear Mok-ha sing. The performances soon begin and Mok-ha takes the win that brings her to the stage.
Giving a spectacular performance, she rushes to Ran-joo to show her thanks after which her idol makes her round into the washroom. There she comes across Mo-rae and senses that something is wrong, which is why she advises her to not become like herself and to take care of her fans.
Later, Mok-ha tries to find Bo-geol but ends up eavesdropping on his conversation with Woo-hak which confirms that he is indeed Ki-ho. She is heartbroken by this and tries to run when she sees Bong-wan and decides to meet him. However, this meeting takes an unexpected turn when he finds out that Mok-ha knows where his sons are.
This shocks Mok-ha as she leaves the city to stay away from Bo-geol and keep his identity hidden. Her move surprises Ran-joo and the Kang brothers, making the latter run out to search for her. With the help of social media, they are able to locate the town she is in and Bo-geol finally meets her.
He confronts her about his identity and how he so wished to be Ki-ho when they found her on the island. Now, he is thankful that she is alive which makes Mok-ha tear up as the two share a hug filled with yearning and happiness.
