Castaway Diva Episode 11 Recap

A press conference is on its way and Mok-ha needs to prepare; right then Woo-hak texts here for a meal which is a pretense to have her prepare for the next day. The two begin to go through the questions he has prepared and the day finally arrives. While Mok-ha is all ready to make sure Ran-joo is out of this predicament, Seo-jun advises her to give up on her idol.

Mok-ha rejects his advice and heads to the interview with the will to keep Ran-joo’s image clean. The two make their way to the stage and begin the conference where they confess the truth while clearing the misunderstandings that have tainted their image. When it comes to Mok-ha, she tells them how she believes in Ran-joo and still believes that she holds the capability to make a strong comeback.

Unfortunately, Ran-joo doesn’t share the same beliefs right now and the conference soon comes to an end, without the outcome that they had wanted. Later, Ran-joo finds out that the whole mishap was due to Seo-jun who revealed information about their contract in the presence of the journalist who published their article.

Unable to bear with this, Ran-joo once again leaves Seo-jun’s house. On the way, she tells Mok-ha Yong-gwan about how a fortune-teller predicted that she would be singing for years together. Sensing her mood, Mok-ha tells her about the time when Ran-joo’s mother came to her house and told her the reason why she named her daughter Yoong Ran-joo.

Ran-joo finds out that her mother was once an inspiring singer on the edge of fame when she got pregnant with Ran-joo and decided to give up her career. Her stage name was Ran-joo and this is the name she gave to her daughter, who later carried her name to the peak of fame. This fills Ran-joo with a newfound energy and she begins to appreciate what her mother did for her once again.

Meanwhile, Mok-ha finds her way to the Kang family’s rooftop where she has a discussion with Woo-hak about their upcoming interview with the prosecutor. Bo-geol interrupts their meeting and takes Mok-ha home, but before she enters her house she makes him remember the time when they went camping and Woo-hak questioned their feeling which she had denied.

Mok-ha tells Bo-geol that she still has the same feelings for him as they were 15 years back, which explains the yearning she had for him all these years. She tells him to stay strong and that she will be waiting for him for as long as needed, even if he were to go to prison. She then goes back home and prepares for the next day when she has to shoot her video.

The next day, Dae-woong’s recovery brings happiness to Young-ju while the Kang family leave for their interview. The prosecutor notices the attitude of the family and Bong-wan which makes it clear who is speaking the truth. He sees the reason behind the Kang family’s actions as well as finds out how Bong-wan did have a hand in Dae-woong’s accident.

The Kang family leave from there and wait for the decision which would take time. However, they find Mok-ha rushing to them with umbrellas in her hand for the family. As they are leaving, Ha-jung sees Bong-wan getting drenched in the rain and passes an umbrella to him before leaving.

The following day, Mok-ha needs to shoot but she changes the singer to Ran-joo and hands over the lyrics to the song that is dear to her and her mother. Ran-joo’s mother also arrives to witness her daughter’s performance and Ran-joo records a song that proves her skills as a singer, creating magic like no other.

Later, Ran-joo is disappointed that her preparations for Mok-ha are in vain but is also thankful to her for giving Ran-joo this chance. The video of Ran-joo singing is soon sent across to many by Yong-gwan and those who received her song are awestruck by the magic Ran-joo has created.

The song soon tops the charts and Ran-joo goes from being the “risk” to RJ Entertainment to the “legend”. As the song continues to bring Ran-joo’s name in a positive light, she reads out her articles to her mother who soon passes away with a smile on her face. Ran-joo faces this loss with Mok-ha and Yong-gwan by her side, but Mok-ha soon leaves when she finds out that the Kang family have got their verdict.

Castaway Diva Episode 11 Ending

Mok-ha rushes to see their smiling faces and understands that they have not been found guilty. She hugs them all before rushing to the rooftop where her Ki-ho waits for her. Mok-ha rushes to him and this time she does not miss the opportunity to give him their long-awaited kiss.

Elsewhere, Ran-joo finds out one of the drawers is locked in her mother’s room and opens it to find an invoice for her album sales in Japan which were a total of 140,000. This proves that Ran-joo had long achieved her required sales but destroyed this invoice which was kept by her mother, who put it back into place with tape.

While this comes as a shock to Ran-joo, Bong-wan is planning something sinister for the Kang family who await to celebrate the occasion with Sang-doo and Woo-hak who have gone to get cake. Unaware of the tragedy they are soon going to be hit with, Mok-ha and Ki-ho celebrate their reunion with old friends.

Meanwhile, Woo-hak makes his way with Sang-doo after they have bought the cake. However, Sang-doo suddenly stops in his tracks after Bong-wan passes him, and falls to the ground with a bleeding neck. Woo-hak is shocked by what has happened and he begins to call out for help for his father.

Castaway Diva Episode 11 Review

The finale weekend has started with a blast and that is for sure, especially with an ending like this one. After an hour of happiness and hope that everything is falling into place, the writers have left us shocked with an ending that had our hearts stop.

This episode has to be the real rollercoaster which took us from a wonderful kiss to a heartwrenching death. Yes, death because Bong-wan is not an ordinary person and he knows how to make sure he kills someone with just one wound.

If these ups and downs weren’t enough, we also have Ran-joo’s discovery which is only making us hate the other antagonist to the peak. Thus, this was an episode worth being the one right before the end to make sure that we keep ourselves eager for the finale!
