Burning Body Trailer: Money Heist’s Úrsula Corberó Returns With a Scandalous Crime Series

Burning Body trailer (El cuerpo en llamas) starring Úrsula Corberó has been released. It was previously confirmed that the actress will be starring in Netflix’s upcoming Spanish series. The streaming platform has been adding more global content, especially following the success of Spanish-language shows such as Money Heist. The upcoming show will be a crime mystery series that will follow an interesting storyline. Apart from the trailer, the show’s release date has also been announced.

Fans who loved watching Corberó as Tokyo in Money Heist will be even more intrigued to see what she has to offer in the new series. From the first trailer, it seems like the show will be gripping and has several twists and turns to offer. The show has been directed and produced by Jorge Torregrossa. The series has been written by Carlos López, Laura Sarmiento Pallarés, and Eduard Sola. Arcadia Motion Pictures is the studio behind the production of the series, with Ibon Cormenzana, and Andrea Martínez Muñoz listed as executive producers.

The show revolves around a homicide case. After the body of a man appears charred inside a car in the Foix reservoir, in Barcelona, an investigation begins. The murder case soon opens a can of worms as several narratives begin to flow surrounding the same. The investigation reveals some interesting details, including the possibility of toxic relationships and sexual scandals. Among the characters, the one at the centre is his partner Rosa, played by Corberó.

The trailer showcases Corberó’s character as a rather mysterious woman. It will be interesting to see if she is a prime suspect in the murder mystery. After playing a badass character like Tokyo, the actress shows a different side in this upcoming
show.

The series also stars Quim Gutiérrez, who plays the role of Albert. Also, Eva Llorach will be seen essaying the role of Ester. One surprising cast member that fans will instantly recognise is actor José Manuel Poga who previously played Gandia in Money Heist. The supporting cast members who also make an appearance in the trailer include, Sergi Cervera, Aleida Torrent, Isak Férriz, Bruno Sevilla, Guiomar Caiado and Aina Clotet.

Burning Body which has been shot in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, is all set to premiere on Netflix on September 8, 2023.
