Buried Hearts Finale Discussions: Ji Seon-u’s Betrayal Leaves Every Viewer Shocked and Unsatisfied

Buried Hearts finale discussions are here, and fans cannot stop talking about the sudden change in Seon-u’s character that left them with a cliffhanger. Meanwhile, viewers are now bringing out their own reviews of the show where some are satisfied while many aren’t. This is especially true for when it comes to Eun-nam’s character, which started off as something great only to later disappear. Dong-ju’s ending is also in the same boat, leading viewers to ask for another season where they could get to know what happens to him.

Buried Hearts (보물섬) follows the chaos that unfolds between a man who hacks into a political slush fund and steals 2 trillion won and the man whose fund has been taken away. Bringing an intense thriller as the game begins, we see a chase and clash between two individuals who are different from each other but hold a determination that makes them similar.

Buried Hearts Episode 16 can simply be defined by one word- crazy! It was filled with shocking ups and downs and viewers were kept on the edge of their seats until the very last moment. What made the episode even better were the shifting scenes and the detailed expressions captured by the cast. We know we held our breath, especially towards the end, when everything that we knew changed in just a moment. Right when we thought that peace was finally here, Seon-u goes ahead and changes it all for us, leaving us devastated.

For those who have seen Cha Woo-min’s previous projects and were finally happy that he wouldn’t be the villain this time, well, I guess the writers weren’t happy seeing us smile this way. The actor has an aura that makes him seem like he is hiding something, and I guess that’s why we were put through this once again. While his character as Seon-u captures our attention again this time, we also have to talk about the rest of the finale.

“taehyun didn’t deserve that ending wtf but seonu was a character played by cha woomin lmao so i should’ve known he was up to no good #BuriedHearts #BuriedHeartsep16”

Meanwhile, fans are having a hard time understanding the sudden shift in Yeong-su and Seon-u’s sudden shifts in personalities. They are also talking about Eun-nam’s character, which has been such a disappointment towards the end of the show. She surely had such a huge influence in the beginning and a captivating aura that had us turning our heads, so why she was treated so wrong towards the end of the show is a big question among many.

“this drama started so good then the writers decided to throw everything in the trash with bad writing after ep 10-11 especially how they treated eunam… i will miss her she was the best #BuriedHearts #BuriedHeartsEp16”

On the other hand, some fans are satisfied with the ending but also hope for another shorter season that can clear up the mess made right at the end of the finale. But even among them, there are many hoping for the show to tie up the many loose ends created in the middle.

“After watching it and reading the comments and interpretations of the ending,I can accept Dongju’s ending, although if there were to be a second season,I would greatly appreciate it!The drama was great and always left us wanting more #ParkHyungSik #BuriedHeartsEp16 #BuriedHearts”

Altogether, there is no doubt that this show had one of the best starts that gathering a lot of attention right after its premiere. Be it the wonderful chemistry between Park Hyung-sik and Hong Hwa-yeon or the captivating plot that left us all stunned. Unfortunately, it soon went downhill by creating so many twists that it was hard to handle. But after this end, I’m sure more and more viewers are ready to take a look into the show, which they can finally binge. The curiosity is strong and so is the wish to see Park Hyung-sik in this stunning role, and adding onto these reasons, we’ve got reactions of fans that will make you watch the new Korean drama!
