Jungkook launched his personal Instagram Account on December 6, 2021. The artist instantly gained around a million followers within hours, and the numbers kept rising with each passing day. He used his social media account to interact with his fans and share snippets about his various personal and professional activities from time to time. The singer also went Live frequently and made his fans included in every step of the way.

The artist’s Instagram handle was @Jungkook.97, an amalgamation of his first name and birth year. The account gained over 50 million followers in less than 2 years, which proves his worldwide popularity. However, on February 28, 2023, panic ensued within the fandom as they discovered his account to be no longer present.

Nevertheless, Jungkook is well aware of the fandom’s worries. On Weverse, he assured Army that his account was not hacked. He revealed that he does not use the app often, so he deleted the account. He also mentions that he deleted the Instagram application along with the account.

The singer urged the fans to remain calm and reassured them that he would remain in contact with them through the Weverse application. The fans are relieved to find out that his account was not hacked but also showcase their sadness via social media because of the singer’s sudden decision. They mourn his absence from the social media website and reminisce about his shared moments.

However, the fans quickly recovered from their misery when the singer went Live through the Weverse application. He interacted with his fans and seemed to appear in his usual energetic self.
