A day before the actual release of the BTS maknae’s second solo single, a new Jungkook 3D preview has lit up X (formerly Twitter) in flames. No matter which time zone you may live in, the BTS ARMY is definitely feeling the heat with this one, safe to assume that BigHit Music’s promotion strategies at play are working their charm as the ’97 liner singer’s name is now trending with several hefty keywords on the social media platform.
While Jungkook’s fans were busy disseminating various streaming rules and guidelines for their favourite star’s upcoming pop collaboration with American rapper Jack Harlow, BigHit Music suddenly decided to spray some more fuel at the fire on September 28, 2023. The BTS TikTok preview catches Jungkook in an all-white attire, in what possibly appears to be a behind-the-scenes moments, and while this angelic vision had initially caused ARMYs to wallow in their reminiscent memories of BTS OT7 in the Yet to Come music video, the actual video itself has taken on a different look that has left the fans fanning themselves.
Moreover, this ongoing phase wherein BTS members are releasing their solo projects before reconvening as the original septet in 2025 following each member’s discharge from the military has been referred to as the “BTS Chapter 2”. Guest starring on Suga’s talk show Suchwita, BTS’ V aka Kim Taehyung had recently remarked with a straight face that this phase will no longer have anything to do with members taking off their shirts, but clearly Jungkook didn’t get the memo. And now, the BTS ARMYs are out lightheartedly trolling themselves and making memes of the situation at hand, ready to lodge their complaints against Jungkook with Taehyung himself.
Jeon Jungkook’s 3D will be released as a follow-up act to his debut solo single SEVEN feat Latto that came out in July 2023. Much like his first song, this one, which is set to be a pop R&B hit, will again delve into amorous expressions for an unattainable person, but with the added twist of the whole thing taking a 3-dimensional outlook.
