Earlier today, BTS’ Jin remembered his groupmate, J-hope and wondered about his ongoing military life. In a long post, the artist shared warm words for a fellow member who has recently been enlisted in the mandatory South Korean military service. The beautiful words have left the fans in an emotional state, and they are happy to see the two members reconnecting through social media.
The artist is also currently in the military and is present as an active soldier. However, he still maintains his relationship with the fans and often shares instances about his life online. On May 5, 2023, the singer went on Weverse to converse with his followers. Under a fan’s post, he wrote a long comment where he asked many questions to J-hope about his daily life in the military.
The post is a pleasant surprise for ARMYs as the fandom was wondering if the members kept in touch after their enlistments. And to their satisfaction, Jin emotionally and humorously lets them know that they are always connected to each other. In the letter, he asked his member if he is doing well. He continues to ask about his health and wonders if J-hope is not calling him due to his nervousness. He also asks about the internet letter he sent a few days back. Additionally, he suggests meeting up during their vacation period.

Hobi enlisted in the military on April 2023, he is the second member of the group to do so. Seokjin was the first member to get enlisted in December 2023. Nevertheless, they both still keep in touch no matter how far away they are from each other. The letter has left ARMYs in shambles as they are getting an indirect interaction between the members after a long time. They await Hobi’s reply eagerly to his teammate’s warm words.
Prior to the enlistment, both members released their selective solo albums. Seokjin released his much-awaited single The Astronaut, which was well-received by both fans and non-fans. Hobi, on the other hand, released his solo Jack in the Box album, which represented a side of him that fans had never seen before. Moreover, he also released a single track called On the Street featuring J. Cole and dedicated it to his fans, who were always with him through thick and thin.
