BTS’ J-Hope has released some more concept photos from his upcoming full-length album ‘Jack in the Box‘. Earlier this month, the BTS member shared that he’ll be headlining the upcoming Chicago-based music festival Lollapalooza on July 31, making J-Hope the first South Korean artist to achieve this.
Soon after that on 25 June, it was announced that he will be releasing his first solo album. According to Bighit Music, they will be releasing a single on 1 July before the release of the full album on 15 July. They further commented that BTS has turned the page on their new chapter, throughout which the members will harmoniously carry out their group and individual activities. J-hope will be the first member of BTS to start this new journey and release his solo album.
The album will represent his aspirations to break the mould and grow further. It can be seen in the concept photos released on Instagram as well, as the rapper dons a completely new look, compared to his previous group concepts. Fans were surprised with the release of the first set of pictures and were curious to know what kind of sounds will be presented in the album.

Prior to this J-hope released a mixtape called Hope World in 2018 which climbed to 38th place on the US Billboard 200 main album chart. Even the mixtape had a happy, colourful vibe to it with peppy songs. But with the full-length album, Armys’ expect some experimental and even dark sounds on the album.
Bighit Music further released another notice that Jack In the Box will be available on Weverse Album, and you can now place your pre-order for the album from 29 June at online and in-person retailers.
