Blue Lock Episode 15 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

Blue Lock Episode 15 is the fifteenth episode of one of the most popular anime of this year. Blue Lock is a sports anime directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe and Hisashi Toujima and is based on an original manga written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yuusuke Nomura. The series is being animated by Studio 8bit.

The show follows Yoichi Isagi, a talented but unrefined striker who gets the opportunity of a lifetime after being invited to compete for and inside the Blue Lock, where Japan’s most talented football strikers have all been gathered to compete against each other. Yoichi might not be the strongest, fastest, sturdiest, or most technically gifted out of all the candidates gathered, but he still has a skill that helps him keep up with the others.

The first selection process saw the strikers compete against each other in teams of 11, just as a standard football match would be. After learning about each other’s strengths and abilities, Yoichi and his teammates, including Bachira, Chigiri, and Kunigami, cleared the first selection successfully. However, a lot of football is still left to play, and many players are still left to defeat!

Blue Lock Episode 15 Plot

Yoichi is stuck on the field as a next-to-useless talent and is relying on Nagi to be able to save them and defeat the team of Barou and Naruhaya. Once again, it is a hunt for Yoichi to discover a new talent to overcome this new threat, as we have seen him do many times before. The game isn’t over yet, and there are a lot of rounds of football still left to play, so don’t count anyone out at just this moment.

Blue Lock Episode 15 Characters

Barou and Naruhaya are the ones we should keep our eyes on for the duration of this match, as Naruhaya might not be as subservient to Barou as Barou thought that he was. That brings a nice twist to the table as not only were the two and how they interact a mystery to us before this episode, but Naruhaya also revealed a side of Yoichi we hadn’t seen before. Let’s see if that was enough to light a fire inside Yoichi’s heart.

Blue Lock Episode 15 Predictions

Yoichi discovers a new weapon that he and Nagi use to defeat Naruhaya and Barou. They pick Barou as their third member, as Naruhaya’s journey ends right here.

Blue Lock Episode 14 Recap

Yoichi and Nagi come out of the selection room feeling jaded and helpless, as Yoichi feels more useless than he had ever felt. Nagi loses his temper as Yoichi continues to wallow in his own self-pity and is violent towards him to help him recover. They both realise that this is a solo skills-centric game, and to progress, they’ll need to hone in on skills that they can use to win one-on-one matchups with. Just in time, as their next opponents include Barou, one of the favourites to win the tournament.
