Bless The Harts Episode 3 Review

Bless the Harts Episode 3 introduces us to Betty Hart’s fear of growing old and also to the Ladies of Greenpoint who hire Jenny to help run their gala. However, her best friend Brenda opposes this with all her heart as the ladies are rude. On the other hand, Betty is seeking cosmetic surgery to enhance her outer appearance. And lastly, Wayne takes Violet to his job as a window washer where she observes people through their windows.

The episode is fun and laughable, with Wayne’s internal monologue about what will happen if he denies giving Violet anything. It brings forth his innocence and also his love for Jenny. The entire situation is hilariously beautiful.

And on the other hand, Betty’s complex of growing old, to me, looked like a mirror to the society where people who don’t want to grow old no matter what and the biological process of ageing feels like a curse to them. With Betty not going for the surgery finally, you just read in between the lines and take with yourself the right thing to do – embracing yourself.

The friendship shared between Brenda and Jenny is yet again something to treasure forever. Brenda and Jenny are those friends who just won’t leave each other’s sides. Even if they do, they eventually find their way back to each other. Episode 3 of Bless the Harts is wholesome. With every passing episode, we see the family’s life unfold as they continue to make ends meet with their everyday shenanigans.
