In Black Mirror Season 6’s Mazey Day episode is set in the early 2000s. Bo is a paparazzo and secretly clicks pictures of a TV celebrity named Justin Camley. Justin is seen romancing a man in the pics. The actor requests Bo not to release the photos. He even offers her money, but she drives away. An angry Justin calls her an animal. Bo gives the photos to the media for money, and Camley’s secret is out now. But the actor is tremendously affected by the news and kills himself.

This affects Bo, and she decides to quit being a paparazzo. She takes a job at a cafe. Sydney, who is working on a Mazey Day franchise, is often addressed by the same name. She’s in the Czech Republic for the shooting.

After the shoot, Sydney takes some drugs, gets drunk, and goes for a drive. She accidentally hits a man but, instead of helping, runs back to her place. Suddenly, there’s gossip that no one has seen Sydney Alberti/Mazey Day for weeks. Bo’s friend, a paparazzi, tells Bo that whoever gets the actress’ pic will get a $30,000 reward. Bo, who needs money, digs out everything she can to find Mazey’s whereabouts.
