Bitch x Rich Season 2 Episode 10 Recap

The episode opens one week before the engagement ceremony when Hye-in asks to be included to give the congratulatory speech. Je-na uses the opportunity to give her her coat back and mentions that she felt bad when Hye-in said that they were not friends. Hye-in is overcome with emotions, having to plan to backstab her friend on Yul-hee’s behalf. But before she leaves, she seems to have told Je-na the truth.

Back to the present, Hye-in tells everyone the truth about Hae-in’s death – that Yul-hee had pushed her. There’s immediate frenzy around her as Hye-in also tells everyone that she’s using hidden camera footage to blackmail her as well. She further blames Yul-hee for Si-eun’s death, and somehow Yul-hee screams into the phone for her sex tape to be leaked… in front of everyone. Thankfully, Jin-wook and Sa-rang are there to take the video off and save Hye-in from being thoroughly embarrassed.

She further exposes the school for hiding the truth from the authorities, leaving everyone thoroughly shocked. Furthermore, Jin-wook brings forth the video of Hee-su agreeing to conceal the truth about Hae-in’s murder, along with revealing the dirty dealings between Chasel Medic and Chongdam. In the last round of exposé, Jin-wook brings forth a video of Woo-jin admitting to Yul-hee manipulating him into doing her dirty deeds, and killing Si-eun.

With this, the engagement ceremony ends, and Ki-ho is left shocked by the way things have gone. With nothing left to him, he goes to beg for Joo-won’s forgiveness, but it’s all too late. Elsewhere, Yul-hee is taken away by her mother, but not before she causes another scene in front of Hye-in. As a last f*ck you, Je-na lets her father know that she holds the most shares of the company, including Jin-wook and Min-hee’s. Of course, Joo-won is incensed having lost control of his company, but there’s only so much that he can do now.

Later, Do-un takes revenge against Woo-jin for Hae-in’s death, and Je-na and Jin-wook meet up one last time to bid each other goodbye. Hye-in, meanwhile, enjoys peace for the first time in a long time with Sa-rang as she bids farewell to the Diamond 6 pin, finally breathing freely. Je-na later pays her a visit to ask her to join Hanmyeong and makes her an offer that she cannot refuse.

Bitch x Rich Season 2 Episode 10: Yeri

What an insane and disappointing ending to the second season, and a random cliffhanger that made me question the point of it all. I am not holding my breath about the third season, which seems like it’s coming, but honestly, the second season was a disappointment enough for me not to be interested in what’s coming next. Sa-rang’s character is still a mystery to me, and the ending was satisfying yet extremely generic. I am convinced Jin-wook can solve world hunger with his amazing hacking skills. It’s just very random! Either way, it’s fine, but let’s not do another season.
