Big Mouth Kdrama: Everything to Know About the Mystery-Thriller Series!

Series Overview

Big Mouth (빅마우스) is a crime-thriller-mystery Korean TV series directed by Oh Choong-hwan and stars Lee Jong-suk, Im Yoon-ah, Kim Joo-hun, and Yang Kyung-won, alongside other cast members.

We saw Jong-suk as Cha Eun-ho in 2019’s Romance is a Bonus Book the last time, and Yoon-ah was last seen as Lee Ji-soo in 2020’s Hush. Meanwhile, director Oh Choong-hwan is known for Hotel Del Luna and Start Up, among other notable shows. This is Jong-suk’s first project after his mandatory military service.

Big Mouth Plot

According to IMDB, the series is a: “Thriller about an unsuccessful lawyer who gets involved in a murder case and is somehow fingered as genius swindler Big Mouse.”

Big Mouth Kdrama revolves around Park Chang-ho, a below-average lawyer who gets embroiled in a conspiracy when his “big mouth” lands him in trouble. A murder case ends in him being called genius swindler Big Mouse, which results in him scrambling to clear his name and his life from the conspiracy and its results, with the help of his wife Ko Mi-ho.

The series stars Jong-suk, Im Yoon-ah, Kim Joo-hun, Yang Kyung-won, Kwak Dong-yeon, and Ok Ja-yeon, alongside other cast members.

Big Mouth Trailer, Release Date and More

The series will release on July 29, 2022, occupying Doctor Lawyer‘s previous Friday-Saturday 10 PM KST timeslot. The series will have a usual 16-episode run and will stream from July 29 – September 17, 2022, and will also stream on Disney+ in select regions.

Disney+ Singapore’s YouTube channel describes the series as “High stakes and jaw-dropping conspiracies” so expect lots of thrills, chills and funny moments as Park Chang-ho tries to clear his name in any way!
