Previously known as King Of Savvy, Big Bet (카지노) is an original Disney+ South Korean drama series directed by King Yoon-sung (known for helming The Outlaws (2017)), who is also stepping in as these screenwriter. The series stars Choi Min-sik as Cha Mu-sik, Son Suk-ku as Oh Seung-hoon and Lee Dong-hwi as Jeong-pal in the lead roles.
The action and crime-driven plot of the series puts us right in the midst of the cut-throat environment of casinos, with Cha Moo-sin reigning high on the charts and everyone fearing him in the Philippines. However, things take a turn when he gets entangled in a murder case and he’s compelled to play the biggest bet with his life to win the “fierce game of survival”.

The upcoming episode is likely to focus on teen Moo-sik, who’s just got out of prison and will step into his the shoes of National Council president, rising high as a new symbol of democracy even though he never asked for it. On the other hand, the older version of the character will continue pursuing the list of Min Seok-jun’s debtors and prove his worth to his new business partner. He will also find himself working alongside Sang-gu a lot more, now that they have also joined forces.

Teenage Moo-sik is elected as the first President of the National Council of Student Representatives, while a bit older version of him starts to find his ground after negotiating a deal with the tax officers in Korea and digs into his first test for working alongside Min Seok-jun. Moo-sik cuts ties with some old toxic friends, and joins hands with some new companions.
