Best Kdrama Couple Nominees Revealed for Year-End SBS and MBC Award Shows

The year-end highlight of the entertainment scene is in full swing on the Hallyu side of things as the best Kdrama couple nominees have also been revealed on December 18, 2023. Both leading Korean drama networks, SBS and MBC unveiled their respective nominations for this category, thus announcing the shortlisted few names of Kdrama pairs who won over the audiences this year. From certain ongoing to recently wrapped up romance sagas, these pairings made way for some of the most memorable breakthroughs as they managed to keep viewers on their toes, with a mixed dose of angst, love, drama, heart-fluttering moments and whatnot.

2023 MBC Drama Awards will be held on December 30, 2023. The ceremony is to be hosted by A Good Day to be a Dog‘s Park Gyu-young, who’ll be making her debut as an official host for a grand ceremony like this, along with Kim Sung-joo, who’ll be continuing his streak as the show’s MC for the fourth year in a row. MBC and Naver Now will be broadcasting the live coverage of the show slated to take place at the MBC Media Center Public Hall in Seoul. The voting for the best couple category has commenced on the MBC Drama Awards official website, and will be open till December 25, 12 AM KST.

On the contrary, the 2023 SBS Drama Awards are to take place on December 29, for which Shin Dong-yup and My Demon’s Kim Yoo-jung will be reuniting at the SBS Prism Tower in Seoul. Voting for the SBS Drama Awards Best Couple category has also opened, and fans can cast their votes on the SBS Drama Awards official website.
