Behind Every Star (연예인 매니저로 살아남기) is a Korean romantic-drama series directed by Baek Seung-ryong and stars Lee Seo-jin, Kwak Sun-young, Seo Hyun-woo, Joo Hyun-young and other cast members.. The series is a remake of the 2015 French show Dix pour cent and takes over tvN’s Monday-Tuesday 10.30 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Mental Coach Jegal.
Focusing on the different employees of the management company Method Entertainment, the series takes us through the journey of how work takes place in such a competitive field. What happens when you need to handle different stars and their myriad of tantrums, especially when you want to climb the ladder hard and fast? Will everyone be able to work together peacefully to deliver their work? Or will the work pressure and drama be too much?

Tae-oh tries to get two stars to be cast in the same series, but things don’t go as planned and he ends up angering them both. However, the relationship between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law sees a new light through all the drama that takes place.
Elsewhere, Je-in has her eyes on the income tax officer Lee Sang-wook who is some she knows and had rejected in the past. On the other hand, Eun-soo misunderstands Hyun-joo’s parentage while the latter feels betrayal from tae-oh.
