Behind Every Star episode 2 starts with Je-in talking to actor Lee Hee-jun, who laments about the various problems in his life and eventually mentions that he can’t star in a movie he has promised to do. Unfortunately, in spite of her insisting on him taking the role, Hee-jun refuses to listen to Je-in and eventually, an incorrect statement lands her in trouble.
At Method Entertainment the next day, Tae-oh starts to slowly take over Tae-ja’s role in the office, much to Je-in’s annoyance. Unfortunately, a spat takes place between Tae-oh and Je-in wherein he tries to take Hee-jun from her. In the end, he asks her to make sure that the actor does what he’s supposed to and assures everyone that he won’t leave Method because he shouldn’t leave the company in such a mess.
Everyone else in the meeting can’t help but roll their eyes.

That night, Je-in and Jung-don have a rather entertaining chat about work and Tae-oh’s nosiness, as well as, weirdly, the idea of having children together, with Jung-don being the sperm donor. The situation isn’t made in jest, with Je-in seriously considering the situation and jung-don seriously offering his sperm to her if that’s what she wants. It’s so bizarre.
The next morning, Hyun-joo gets into trouble with Je-in for sending a scarf to Hee-jun as a peace offering which, in turn, turns out to be a piece of garment that gave the actor a ton of negative media attention. She rushes to his apartment to stop the delivery but finds the scarf on the watchman, having been gifted to him by Hee-jun!
As punishment, Je-in asks Hyun-joo to make copies for as long as she doesn’t tell him to stop. While having a copying crisis, she meets Ko Eun-gyul and they share rather cute chemistry together. On the other hand, the employees try to squash hilarious rumours that Tae-ja died mid-coitus! Either way, he gets Sun-kyu to accept Director Byun’s next project. This, however, sparks problems between Je-in and Jung-don.

That night, the agents are called to an emergency meeting with Tae-ja’s wife, who informs them that she will sell the company to the highest bidder since she is not interested to run it. Confused and a little tensed, Tae-oh blurts out that the four of them will buy the company instead, shocking the other three. However, it’s not a bad plan, as they come to realise later but Je-in isn’t completely convinced.
The next day, Je-in gets to know that even between Sun-kyu and Hee-jun was a rumoured jealousy issue that stemmed from the time that they were discovered by Tae-ja. Interestingly, both of them are competing after so many years to work on Director Byun’s film.
Hearing the titbit, Je-in rushes to find Hee-jun in order to lure him back into the film. And just as Je-in predicted, Sun-kyu’s mere mention sends Hee-jun into accepting the role once more. A fight breaks out, thus, between Je-in and Jung-don later at work in front of the whole office, wherein they both refuse to have babies with each other.
Anyway, that night, Hyun-soo and Eun-gyul come across each other again, and she helps him practice his Busan accent for an upcoming role. The two youngsters look rather cute together, and their shyness is rather endearing. As a thank you for her nice gesture, he takes Hyun-soo out for a drink, and the two of them talk about their families and jobs and pronounce ‘blueberry’. On the other hand, after their silly fight, Je-in and Jung-don seem to be missing each other.

At Tae-ja’s funeral, everyone tries to stop Sun-kyu and Hee-jun from meeting each other and in spite of their trying their level best, they do end up facing each other. The truth comes out after a rather uncomfortable conversation, and an all-out brawl breaks out between the two actors right in between the funeral. Unfortunately, the two agents get a get talking-to from Tae-oh for handling the situation poorly.
Thankfully for the two agents, however, the pair do end up making up and finding common ground in the weirdest and the most tender way possible later on. The agents find a solution to the film problem as well, resulting in both of them getting a role in the same film, now romancing each other. It’s an all-around odd win for everyone.
Behind Every Star Episode 2 Ending
Later that night, Hyun-soo meets Tae-oh’s wife and son, Eun-gyul, taking both Tae-oh and Hyun-soo by surprise. She runs off when they ask her to join them for dinner, and when Eun-gyul confronts her, she tells him to act like they don’t know each other from then on out. Hyun-soo, however, ends up getting an earful from Tae-oh anyway, and she laments as she wonders if she is not his family as well.
Behind Every Star Episode 2 Review

I am convinced that this series is just going to be a bizarre time-pass watch that has some out-in-the-open twists and turns and which will leave us scratching our heads red. I don’t even know what to think of the sheer madness happening in front of me in this series so far. But, I must say that it is a great time and it won’t make you think too deeply about anything.
It’s a funny show that will provide a welcome respite from all the serious ones out there. But, for now, it’s strictly average since the storylines seem a bit rushed and haphazard.
