In the latest episode of the series, tensions remain high as the hitman-turned-actor travels to LA to take out his former acting coach, Gene. Despite Sally’s objections, Berkman is determined to complete his mission.

Throughout the episode, we find Berkman struggling with his newfound faith and the concept of killing as a sin. He makes use of eccentric podcasts to arrive at a conclusion (featuring a voice cameo from Bill Burr) and starts hunting Gene.

Meanwhile, Fuches (freshly released from prison with the title of “The Raven”) meets with Hank, who now runs a successful business called Nohobal. Fuches agrees to work for Hank, hoping for an opportunity to eliminate Berkman. However, Hank changes his mind when Fuches drunkenly confronts him about killing Cristobal.

In the meantime, Gene finds himself summoned to meet with the district attorney during a meeting with a studio executive. He explains that he came out of hiding to ensure a movie is not made that turns Barry into a hero or puts a dent in his relationship with Janice. Later, Gene apologizes to Leo for shooting him, indicating a change of heart.
