Bandidos Ending Explained
The series begins with Miguel, a hotel worker and the son of a renowned retired archaeologist who suffers from amnesia due to his old age. Miguel, along with his uncle, engages in thievery by selling fake antique pieces to tourists. Enter Lilí, Miguel’s ex-girlfriend and also a skilled thief. During a conversation with his father, Miguel learns about a treasure. Soon after, a drunken hotel guest reveals a tattoo resembling a map, hinting at the treasure’s location. However, the guest goes missing, and later, his body is discovered in the sea, bearing signs of a struggle to conceal or obtain the map.
Realising the map’s potential significance, Miguel decides to retrieve it from the museum owned by Ariel, a former student of his father whom he dislikes. With the help of his uncle and Lilí, Miguel orchestrates a daring heist to steal the valuable map once owned by Louis Fernandes De Montejo.

After acquiring the map from the museum, they discover that the treasure lies underwater. Journeying to the location, they stumble upon a mysterious moonstone, unfamiliar to them. However, as they prepare to depart, they encounter a group of nefarious goons also seeking the moonstone. Realising they aren’t alone in their quest for the treasure, they hastily devise a plan to escape.
Miguel, in a daring move, swallows the stone to protect it, enabling his friend to flee. The treasure-hunting goons apprehend Miguel, intent on retrieving the stone, but his friend stages a dramatic rescue. Upon returning to his father, Miguel learns that to unlock the treasure, they must gather three stones: earth, moon, and sun. Their quest intensifies as they realise they must find all three before reaching the treasure.
Did Miguel and His Team Find the Treasure?
After discovering the moonstone, they embarked on a quest to find the remaining two stones, only to have their efforts thwarted when the goons abducted his father, demanding all three stones in exchange for his release. Determined to rescue his father, he hatched a plan to craft duplicates of the stones, leveraging Wilson’s remarkable skill in replication. Their troubles compounded when they uncovered Ariel’s involvement with the goons, driven by his desire to acquire the ancient Jaguar statue for his museum. In a risky move, they handed over two authentic stones and one counterfeit to appease him.

After enduring numerous trials and tribulations in their search, they eventually pinpointed the precise location of the treasure. Miguel, Lilí, Inés, and Octavio, armed with the moonstone, unravelled the myth surrounding the three stones, realizing that only one was truly indispensable. With the moonstone as their guide, they accessed the treasure. However, Ariel’s unexpected appearance threatened to disrupt their victory, as he sought to negotiate for the gold jaguar alone. Despite their initial success, Lilí’s impulsive decision to steal the jaguar threw their plans into disarray.
In a shocking turn of events, Miguel, in a bid to safeguard the gold jaguar, made the harrowing choice to shoot Lilí, leaving everyone reeling with disbelief. The aftermath saw the gold jaguar securely displayed in the museum, serving as a testament to the group’s journey. Despite the obstacles they faced, they found solace in the bonds they formed and the memories they shared, ultimately cherishing the experiences that brought them together.
What Happened to Lilí?

From the outset of the series, it became evident that Lilí was concealing herself from someone formidable, prompting her desire to alter her identity. She confided in Miguel about the potent threats posed by these individuals, emphasizing their pursuit of her rather than mere financial gain. Together, Miguel and Lilí devised a plan wherein he would simulate her demise, effectively fabricating her death by staging a fatal encounter.
This stratagem remained clandestine from the rest of the team to prevent any suspicion of her ruse. Ultimately, the culmination of their scheme was witnessed when authorities discovered a body in the ocean bearing Lilí’s identity, affirming her demise to the public. Having successfully executed her plan, Lilí adopted a new name and persona, electing to forge ahead with Miguel by her side as they embarked on a new chapter of their lives.
