Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Episode 9 Recap

Episode 9 brings the failure of the rebels and Nunbyeol escapes with Chaeeun while Taealha is imprisoned. Meanwhile, Saya is given the choice to kill himself or Tanya and he chooses to end his life with poison. Elsewhere, Eunseom deals with Suhana and has her imprisoned while he tries to keep Karat but has to let go due to the beliefs of the Momo tribe.

Later, Tagon tells Tanya about Saya’s death and Eunseom’s advancement while letting her know that she too will be killed one day and he will make sure to erect a statue for her to be worshipped forever. Later, he announces to lead the army to war personally while Yangcha’s arrival helps break Suhana’s silence and has her reveal Tagon’s plan.

She tells Eunseom that Tagon will attack them through the forest as he leads the army himself. Eunseom then prepares for the upcoming war and their plan works for the best. However, Tachukan and Mirusol end up chasing Tagon into the open while a wounded Karat arrives to warn Eunseom that this a trap laid by Tagon.

Surprised, Eunseom then orders them to go to the other side of the hill with their horses while Tagon’s army surrounds Tachukan and Mirusol. However, right when they are tired to the extreme, Eunseom’s voice fills them up with energy as their Inaishingi charges into the battlefield with his cavalry.

Tagon sees this shift in the wind and decides to jump into the fight when he sees a face similar to Saya’s looking back at him.
