And Just Like That Episode 9: ‘No Strings Attached’
And Just Like That Episode 8 dropped some heavy bombs on us. As much as we have been enjoying Miranda’s exploration, her coming out to Steve with a divorce was really heartbreaking. And fans have been waiting to see what happens next and, even though this episode isn’t enough, it does has its moments.
In And Just Like That Episode 9, most of the show is dedicated to portraying the different pages Miranda and Che are threading on in their relationship. The “getting to know each other” phase though, does not seem enough justification for the brutal Steve-Miranda divorce. We also meet Steve in this episode where he and Miranda are presumably not together but, he helps her out in her fundraiser. Steve and Carrie get into a conversation banking on their partners and, it looks like a pretty sweet and emotional touch to the episode.
Apart from that, we have Charlotte and her new parenting problem in hand. With Charlotte hitting menopause, Lily holds onto her mother to get through the phase where she tries a tampon for the first time. The entire segment dedicated to Charlotte and Lily is hilarious as Charlotte becomes the Ted talk person on the usage of tampons and, it is almost education. Well, almost.

Trouble in paradise strikes again between Nya and her husband about IVF and having children when they witness Lisa and her family. But the deeper trouble comes in Carrie’s life. We have been hoping for a Carrie-Peter second date since it was “auctioned” and, And Just Like Episode 9 is when we finally get to witness it but, it surely doesn’t go as planned given Carrie is still unable to move past Big’s demise.
And Just Like That Episode 9: Final Thoughts
Overall, And Just Like That Episode 9 tries to pick up the pieces from the last episode. We hear Steve’s stance, Carrie’s position in life, Miranda and Che’s relationship and, some wholesome Seema-Carrie moments. However, the episode has its own drawbacks, be it the weird holocaust joke or, Miranda’s school-girl attitude. Hopefully, the season finale will be able to give the series a more structured end, in comparison to its scattered and impulsive plotline.
