Just like the drama, True to Love soundtracks have a special place in our hearts. The sweet melodies and heartfelt lyrics made every scene more emotive. The K-Drama Bo-ra! Deborah (보라! 데보라) followed the story of a love coach whose own relationship goes downhill and an editor who crosses paths with her at her lowest moment.
Co-directed by Lee Tae-gon and Seo Min-jeong, the cast includes Yoo In-na as Yeon Bo-ra/Deborah, Yoon Hyun-min as Lee Su-hyeok, Joo Sang-wook as Han Sang-jin, Hwang Chan-sung as Noh Ju-wan, Park So-jin as Lee Yu-jeong, Koo Jun-hoe/Ju-ne as Yang Jin-ho, Kim Ye-ji as Yeon Bo-mi, Lee Sang-woon as Yang Jin-woo, Song Min-ji as Su-jin, Kim Ji-an as Yu-ri, and Park Ri-won as Da-mi.

True to Love Soundtracks
A Special Day – Wisue
This song aptly expresses Bo-ra’s feelings towards Ju-wan at the start. She was excited to start a life with him and daydreaming about getting married yet there was some anxiousness as she could feel the gradually increasing distance between them. The soft ballad feels like a lover wanting to be with their partner and not wanting to lose them.
I’ll Turn Around (돌아설게) – Bily Acoustie
It is a breakup song which plays when Su-hyeok is feeling heartbreak and Bo-ra witnesses her boyfriend kissing someone else. They don’t want to believe what has happened and want to cling to the good memories, yet they can’t do so. Letting go is much more difficult for them and they hope for one last time to be together with their loved ones.
The One Who Wins – Lee So-jung
This True to Love soundtrack plays when Bo-ra makes up her mind to head on to face all the troubles that she has created and the things that are out of her control. The inspirational lyrics say that one should treasure themselves and love oneself equally. It will be alright and just like Su-hyeok says heartbreak is like a cold, it will get better before you notice.
Again – Dailog
Again is definitely the soundtrack for Bo-ra and Su-hyeok’s relationship development. How they gradually warmed up to each other and started keeping a check on each other, if the other has any feelings for them. Together they were able to grow emotionally and let go of their past relationships with a smile on their faces.

Half & Half – Kang Seung-yoon
Many must have heard this song the most, as it was used at the end of the episodes usually. Kang Seung-yoon’s voice is magically comforting already, on top of that the lyrics are something that both the lead characters would like to hear. It gives a lesson about love and dating that they eventually learn in the last episode.
Accidental Love (우연히, 사랑) – Ju-ne
Ju-ne’s OST was hinted at right from the start and many were waiting for the full version to drop soon. It might have taken some time to get his solo track but it exceeds all the expectations. Just like his character, Jin-ho, the song represents innocent love and the feeling of falling for someone at first sight.
Make Me Love U – VIVIZ
This retro-inspired peppy song by VIVIZ expresses the growing feelings between Bo-ra and Su-hyeok, since their kiss and pretend relationship. It often played in the scenes where one could sense the amicable likeness between them and how well they got together with each other, but none of them made the first step, out of fear of rejection and unsure about others’ feelings.
Paint Over (덧칠) – Kim A-reum
Paint Over is like a letter from Bo-ra to Su-hyeok, telling him what she wants him to do. As if she is expressing her feelings for him and how everything becomes happy with him but his unresponsiveness is bothering her. Just the way in the drama, where Bo-ra had to prod him to say something but it was all worth it. Otherwise, Su-hyeok would have never found the timing and another love story would have been lost. Like the title of the song, one heartfelt confession Paints Over all the doubts and pain.
True to Love (Bo-ra Deborah) is currently available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
