Alchemy of Souls season 2 is finally making its return and tvN is not stopping itself from teasing fans each day, giving us a love-and-hate feeling already. Starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Yoon-jung, Jung So-min, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seong-ho, alongside other cast members, the Kdrama is created by Park Joon-hwa, Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran.
After the exciting teaser and the poster, we are now being treated with stills from the upcoming season of the soul-shifter hunter Jang Uk from 3 years after his reincarnation. And we are once again tormented with these sneak peeks of the upcoming season.
Earlier today, tvN took to social media to once again tease fans of the show with new stills of Jang Uk who looks dangerous and in pain after the 3 years that have passed since his iconic and breathtaking rise from his death. Those blue flames that shook our hearts at the end of season 1 cannot be forgotten because that scene really did make our jaws drop.
While the teaser poster of Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow made us look forward to the reunion of this beloved couple, the stills released today show the pain and despair that Jang Uk goes through before finding his love. The pictures show his life as the hunter of soul shifters as he goes around depleting Jin Mu’s forces while taking his revenge for what had happened.

But as we have seen so far, attacking Jin Mu won’t be an easy task for Jang Uk which makes the upcoming season more exciting because we want to witness how he takes down the person trusted by the royal family.
On the other hand, we also see him looking at the jade egg that he had gotten made for himself and Mu-deok while recollecting the events from 3 years back. The caption shared by tvN also adds to the fire as it points towards the happenings during these 3 years that have brought change into many characters which can also be witnessed through the group picture that was shared some time back.
Altogether, this is another teaser that has got us eager for the upcoming sequel and while we are loving Jang Uk’s looks and the dark aura that he is bringing, we would like something more than a hand tvN when it comes to Naksu.

And we are not going to count the group poster because we want more of Naksu this time who has also been the focus of fans after the season 1 finale. So let’s hope we get more of Naksu sometime soon, but until then let us satisfy our eagerness with what we get.
