Alchemy of Souls Season 2 Episode 9 Reactions: Park Jin and Kim Do-Ju Have Fans Crying

Alchemy of Souls season 2 episode 9 has left fans crying for Park Jin and Kim Do-ju whose story is left incomplete, while their hearts break for Jang Uk after this episode. Directed by Park Joon-hwa and starring Lee Jae-wook, Go Yoon-jung, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, Yoo Jun-sang, Oh Na-ra and Jo Jae-yoon, alongside other cast members, the sequel premiered on tvN on December 10, 2022.

Episode 8 of the show began the Alchemy of Souls season 2 finale weekend and there is no doubt that the episode left us with an unforgettable experience. While this is just the beginning because we have another episode to go, episode 9 brought in a stream of tears as well as moments that melted our hearts.

To begin with, the hot topics related to the show at the moment are Park Jin and Kim Do-ju, Jang Uk’s tragedy with parents and similar figures, Jang Uk and Naksu’s moments, as well as a turtle that has become everyone’s favourite. While these are only just some topics from episode 9 that have us all talking, the preview for the finale doesn’t fall behind because it is just that awesome.

Along with these moments comes a character who has shown us the best development yet and even became one of our favourites- the crown prince Go Won. His moments with Jang Uk never fail to entertain viewers, but it is his character development that really takes over our hearts.

As fans continue to discuss the many moments of this episode, there have been endless complaints waiting for the Hong sisters after the sneak peek at the miserable ending that has been given to some characters. And yes we are once again talking about the Park Jin and Kim Do-ju couple who really deserved a better ending.

But then again, weddings on Alchemy of Souls are never a good occasion and this had been proven since season 1. Finally, the show has successfully brought us to the peak of the historical fantasy mountain before the finale and this has to be the best way to begin 2023.

Now, let us check out some fan reactions that are taking over Twitter:

“So you are telling me that Jang Uk never saw his mother, his father never accepted him and died, his biological father died, his lover stabbed him and died, and now the only parent figures he had in his life also died.. #AlchemyOfSouls2Ep9 #AlchemyOfSouls2

“Go Won really went from Jang Uk’s enemy, to his frenemy, to his fanboy, to his BBF and UkYeong matchmaker and together with them he has one of the best character arcs ever. #AlchemyOfSouls #AlchemyOfSouls2Ep9 #AlchemyOfSouls2 #shinseungho #leejaewook

“JIN BUYEON IS ACTUALLY JIN SEOLRAN?! lady jin used the ice stone left by master seogyeong to save her unborn baby, and jin seolran’s soul was still in the ice stone. IT’S MIND-BLOWING????#AlchemyOfSouls2Ep9
