Alchemy of Souls Overview
Alchemy of Souls (Return/환혼) is a 2022 Korean historical drama series directed by Park Joon-hwa and starring Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-min, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, Yoo Jun-sang, Oh Na-ra and Jo Jae-yoon, alongside other cast members.
The series revolves around Jang Wook and Mu-deok, residents of the fictional country of Daeho, whose shortcomings get eradicated when they invariably come into each other’s lives. Deok-yi, an elite warrior trapped in a weak body, becomes Jang Wook’s servant and secret teacher and helps him become better than the rumours that follow him. Will they be able to help each other get what they want out of life?
Alchemy of Souls takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Our Blues.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads: “A powerful sorceress in a blind woman’s body encounters a man from a prestigious family, who wants her help to change his destiny.”

The series will stream from June 18, 2022, to August 21, 2022. Episode 10 of the series will stream on July 17 at 9 PM KST (7.30 PM IST).

Jang Uk has finally made it into Songrim but Park Jin seems to have other plans for him, and it looks like he is slowly starting to get suspicious about Mu-deok. On the other hand, Mu-deok is determined to get herself into Songrim while Jang Uk waits for her arrival.
Alchemy of Souls Episode 9 Recap
Episode 9 shows the story behind the real Mu-deok. She is an extraordinary talent and the lost daughter of Jin Ho-kyung. On the other hand, Jang Uk is celebrating his admission into Songrim but is shocked the next day when he gets to know that Mu-deok is not allowed to enter the gates. However, Mu-deok does not give up and is determined to enter Songrim especially after hearing Kim Do-ju’s words that point to a certain love interest of Jang Uk’s.
