Alchemy of Souls is moving on to its final week which is getting us excited and sad at the same time. We are definitely going to miss this show until its return with season 2, and shedding a few tears is inevitable. But that doesn’t mean that we can overlook the excitement for the finale.
With Alchemy of Souls episode 19 and 20 almost here, fans obviously can’t help but come up with theories of what could happen in the upcoming week. While not all theories happen to come true, there are still some that catch your attention and make you wish that this is how things should go.
And the theories Alchemy of Souls has is no less intriguing than the plot of the show that is always blowing our minds away. AOS fans are masterminds who not only observe every single detail of the show but also excel in connecting the dots.
Now, these are obviously theories and so far the show’s writers have managed to shock the fans by paving a new way that is far from the speculations that we’ve made. However, we cannot resist the excitement that these assumptions bring to us each week that only makes our minds work overtime.
Before we start to mention the theories that have come up on social media, a moment of appreciation for the Hong sisters- Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran for giving us a plot that amazes us each week.
Moving on, we’ve got three fan theories that have really made us think of the possibilities that can happen in the finale.

Alchemy of Souls Fan Theories
Naksu’s Body
This particular theory really caught my eye because there is no doubt that Jin Bu-yeon is the OP character in this show who is trickier than the final boss of a game. She is wise, strong, and just over-the-top awesome and without knowing much about her we already love her. If there is anyone who can bring back Naksu’s real body, then it is no doubt that she is the only one capable of doing that.
Unless Jin Mu or someone else built a secret trap door below the place where Naksu’s body was being burnt and has preserved it till now.

Jang Kang and Cho Chung
Okay, this one just blew my mind! How could we have missed that Naksu’s father was actually a soul shifter who went wild before he was killed? This means that her father’s soul is probably alive somewhere out there and doing God knows what. This theory makes me question who was the person that was killed. And if Jang Kang went around searching for his friend and not his daughter.
The Final Goodbye
Lastly, this one made me cry. I really hope that this theory never comes true but we know that Jin Bu-yeon is strong enough to make this happen and while I’m manifesting a circle against, this is a probability that we cannot ignore.
