On August 8, Mnet revealed that aespa’s Karina will be joining the cast of the exciting new variety show, MY ARTi FILM. This unique series blends K-pop with cinematic elements, offering a fresh take on performance-based entertainment. Mnet’s MY ARTi FILM brings a new twist to the K-pop scene by challenging artists to showcase their acting skills across different genres, including romance, comedy, and thriller. Each episode features dance routines that creatively reimagine famous movie scenes, merging K-pop’s energetic style with the art of cinema.

Karina is set to dive into the noir action genre for her episode. She will play a fierce, independent character who battles against a powerful crime boss. This role promises to highlight a side of Karina that fans haven’t seen before, adding a layer of depth to her already dynamic stage presence.
