Adamas (아다마스) is a thriller-mystery Korean drama series directed by Park Seung-woo and stars Ji Sung in the lead double roles of Ha Woo-sin and Song Su-hyeon, along with Seo Ji-hye and Lee Soo-kyung in lead roles. The series takes over tvN’s Wednesday-Thursday 10.30 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Eve. Adamas episode 12 has a runtime of 68 minutes.

– Adamas Episode 12 Recap Contains Spoilers –
Adamas episode 12 starts off with chairman Kwon finding out that he had been fooled by Lee Chang-woo who hid the real Adamas. Elsewhere leader Lee threatens Woo-shin to find the real weapon, then knocks him out and leaves.
The alarms in the building are blaring and Tae-sung rushes to check on Woo-shin only to see him on the ground and the fake Adamas broken. Elsewhere, Su-hyun tells Hyuk-pil that the target must be Hwang Byung-chul who is campaigning in the market. He tells him to call the personnel near the candidate and warn them of the bomb.
On the other hand, Seo-hee is approached by a man dressed in the bomb squad uniform. He offers her some water and cuts open the tape on her hand with the pretence of re-binding her hand. But after drinking some water, she notices that the man is suspicious as he doesn’t get more tape.

He then leaves while Se-hee starts to feel dizzy and falls unconscious. Elsewhere, Byung-chul is informed about the bomb as he runs away from the market. Su-hyun reaches there in time to stop him before he could enter his car. Soon, an explosion is heard as they witness the car being blown up.
The next day, Su-hyun visits Seo-hee and tells her about the incident from the previous day that got her handcuffed to her bed in the hospital. He then asks her to give a false statement against chairman Kwon and say that she had seen him murder someone years back.
On the other hand, SIH makes a public statement with regard to the bombing incident from the previous night. While Byung-chul too tells the police to investigate.
Elsewhere, Sun visits chairman Kwon as she tells him that she only did what was told to her by leader Lee which causes him to get angry with Hyun-jo for letting his subordinates get out of hand. He then informs him of the destroyed Adamas which now ceases to exist and also reveals his real intentions behind hiring Woo-shin.
This is overheard by Hye-soo who is shocked. On the other hand, Tae-sung realises the signal blockage which is making it impossible to connect with anyone outside, while Ms Kwon gives her statement.
Later, Woo-shin makes a visit to the chairman who reveals the past that he shared with his biological father. On the other hand, Hye-soo tries to get a confession out of Hyun-jo against his father when the latter reveals to Hye-soo that he was the one who killed Min-ju and not his father.

Chairman Kwon recalls the betrayal given to him by Lee Chang-woo because of a woman when he decided to leave his side. However, looking at his loyalty to him he had actually wanted to spare Lee Chang-woo, but the latter decided to do him wrong by stealing the real Adamas.
Now it is Woo-shin who has to pay for this betrayal by getting him the real Adamas, and if not then he will be replaced by Su-hyun. This makes Woo-shin realise that his being able to enter the house was all a plan made by chairman Kwon.
While leaving the house, Woo-shin meets Tae-sung and asks him to send him the video of Ms Kwon from the party as no footage of it has been leaked as of yet. Elsewhere, Su-hyun is trying to convince Byung-chul against Haesong but unfortunately fails.
He gives this news to Hyuk-pil who gets another shocking news- the components of the bomb that exploded the candidate’s car were similar to that of their organisations.

Later, Sun and leader Lee are having dinner and the former repeatedly warns the latter to be careful but he brushes it off as a joke. However, he suddenly starts choking and realises that he has been betrayed. He is then put inside a car trunk by Sun and manager Jung.
Elsewhere, Shin-woo and Su-hyun make their way to their childhood home separately where they discuss the situation that has been happening. Suddenly, the former decides to share a piece of news that leaves the latter shocked.
Adamas Episode 12 Ending
He tells Su-hyun that their biological father is none other than Lee Chang-woo, which is why he had been so adamant about reopening the case of their stepfather’s murder. On the other hand, Hye-soo goes to Ms Kwon for help as she asks her about all the secrets that she knows.
After this, she also goes to the chairman and lets him know that she is targeting Hyun-jo and will offer him whatever he wants in return for what she wants.
Seo-hee makes the statement as requested by Su-hyun and tells the officer that she had been kidnapped because she had witnessed the murder of Song Soon-ho. She tells them that she saw chairman Kwon commit the murder.
The next day, Su-hyun hands in his resignation at the office and leaves. While Shin-woo and Hye-soo make a deal wherein he finds the Adamas and gives it to her so that she can achieve her goals.
Elsewhere, Su-hyun meets Lee Chang-woo and reveals that he knows about him being his biological father and that he will now be his defence lawyer.

Adamas Episode 12 Review
Another exciting episode as new revelations are made and the plot gets deeper and more exciting while moving toward the grand climax that will blow our minds. The show is really picking up the pace as the chairman takes the reigns in this episode, showing that he is the real deal.
Betrayals continue and new revenge plans are coming up which is only contributing in making the show more intriguing than ever.
