Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 16: In the Bigg Boss 20 house, food is not just food but a currency, leverage, friendship, strategy, ego, and apparently now someone’s literal “life in Bigg Boss”. With this idea, the episode ran because the moment Bigg Boss opened the doors to Room No. 20, Aman Gandhi sprinted in and walked out with Yung DSA’s life and a luxury ration basket.
The latest episode brought another nomination twist, a ration-related task, an Aman-Yung fight and enough alliance decoding to remind everyone that no one in this house is just chilling. Even sitting beside someone has now become a strategy, apparently.
Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 16: Nominations Take a Twist
This week’s nominations did not follow the general formula of simply taking two names to be nominated; Bigg Boss instead turned it upside down.
Every contestant this time had to name two contestants whose lifelines they wanted to save, and because Bigg Boss always has a catch attached, the contestants whose names were not taken at all ended up facing the threat of eviction. By the end of the process, Isha Rikhi and Yung DSA were the two contestants whose names nobody chose to save, which means the two are nominated for the week.
A rather interesting way of reaching the nomination list without the contestants really knowing, because not being chosen became significant this time.

Aman Takes Yung’s Life For Luxury Ration
The house was running low on food as the housemates had lost the opportunity to win the ration with the last ration task. Bigg Boss gave the contestants an opportunity to win a luxury ration basket.
It was a seemingly simple challenge: the one who reached Room No. 20 first could take away one life from a contestant who had their two lifelines intact and, in return, win the luxury ration basket.
Aman Gandhi ran and entered the room first and chose Yung DSA to be left with a single life, thereby winning the luxury ration. So in a single sprint, Aman got the basket, and Yung was left with a single life.
Aman Gandhi And Yung DSA Get Into A Verbal Fight
Yung was obviously not going to remain quiet after Aman took his life, collected the basket and walked away. He confronted Aman, and the “conversation” quickly turned into a proper verbal clash. The argument did not just remain about what happened in Room No. 20.
Yung called out Aman over his conversation from the previous week when he approached Yung and his friends, saying that he did not really know what to talk about after a certain point because his closest friends in the house were girls.
This is where Bigg Boss arguments get messy because no one is just arguing about the topic. There is always a receipt from days ago or midnight conversations that casually become a part of the mess.
Gullu’s Comment Leaves Some Upset
While Aman and Yung were dealing with their own verbal fight, Gullu found himself in an awkward spot. The issue came from what happened inside Room No. 20. Gullu was with Aman in the room as he was the “sanchalak” of the task. When Aman was thinking about whose name should be taken, Gullu asked, “nominated ki nahi le sakte na” (transl. A nominated contestant’s life cannot be taken away, right?).
As Aman repeated the question, Bigg Boss made it very clear that any contestant with two intact lifelines could have one snatched. So when Aman took Yung’s life, the comment became a point of contention. Yung’s group was upset with Gullu, especially because they felt that the people who had worked hard to make him the captain were now on the receiving end of his moves.
Amrapali particularly expressed her disappointment, pointing out that the boys had put in a lot of effort to help Gullu become the captain, only for him to make a move against them.
Rhiti Tiwari Decodes The Game
Rhiti Tiwari, during the episode, offered her own reading of the game. According to her, Qazi’s recent appreciation is what makes some contestants position themselves around him. Her theory is simple: if Qazi is getting attention, then being around him could potentially bring visibility to the people around him.
Rhiti specifically mentioned Aman Gandhi and Uditi Singh, suggesting that their proximity to Qazi could be for the “visibility”.
It is Rhiti’s personal interpretation of their strategy rather than a fact.
Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 16: Ration, Lifelines And A Friendship Test
Episode 16 essentially had three things at the core: ration, lifelines and relationships. Aman got the luxury ration basket but at the cost of Yung’s lifeline. Yung is now left with a single life and is facing nomination this week.
Isha Rikhi is the second name on the nomination list after nobody chose her during the lifeline-saving process. Gullu’s comment has left some people questioning whether he is still with the people who actually earned him the position.
Qazi is back with his positive energy after his prank was exposed in the “Weekend Ka Vaar”.
Aman has a basket of luxury groceries and is willing to share, but Love Gill has asked her friends to not take even a single thing from it. Ration indeed becomes the hero of the house from time to time.
The promo for Episode 17 shows a task to rank the people who have their two lives intact, which again brings in another argument in the BB House.
