FBI Director Kash Patel often draws scrutiny for personal matters. These include his relationship with country singer and conservative commentator Alexis Wilkins, who is 19 years younger than him, and reports of heavy drinking.
A recent Atlantic article depicted Patel as frantic and paranoid inside the FBI over issues that may not warrant such reactions. It also noted his concerns about job security and fears of being fired.
The piece renewed focus on his drinking. Iran responded with a LEGO video trolling Patel, showing a minifig version with drunken eyes engaging in erratic, paranoid behavior. It’s part of Iran’s pattern of using LEGO animations to mock Donald Trump and his administration.
Netizens reacted with amusement on X. One commented, “These just get better and better.” Another called it, “A piece of art. Iran is the Leonardo Da Vinci of burns.” A third joked, “Iran running short on ballistic missiles so instead launching LEGO videos!!!”
Others noted, “One of the conditions that Trump might put in a ceasefire will be removing these videos. These are so crazy, man.” One praised the music: “On point evoking [a] Billy Joel classic. These guys are really good.”
Even some self-proclaimed America lovers found it funny and agreed with its portrayal. One offered serious criticism: “Kash promised Epstein transparency. Rep. Raskin nailed it: In July, Patel decided ‘no further disclosure’ of Epstein files was necessary. Months earlier, he swore ‘no stone left unturned.’ What changed? ‘Bcuz of who is on that list,’ Raskin said—quoting Patel’s own words.”
This isn’t Patel’s first brush with negative attention. FBI officials have confirmed his paranoia, with one calling it “rightly paranoid,” per The Atlantic. The outlet previously reported Patel as next in line after Bondi, but the White House has not confirmed it.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt defended Patel, saying under Trump and Patel, “crime across the country has plummeted to the lowest level in more than 100 years, and many high-profile criminals have been put behind bars. Director Patel remains a critical player on the administration’s law and order team.”
Yet Patel’s job worries persist. Before Bondi’s firing, the Trump administration praised her publicly—even the week she was ousted.
Iran has a history of LEGO videos mocking U.S. actions; Patel’s has gone viral online.
