Indu Season 3 Ending Explained
The season opens right after Charu’s shocking murder at the Dasgupta house. As Sujato is taken in for questioning, questions swirl around Indrani as everyone starts being suspicious. With Annada throwing everyone out of the house, Indrani must figure out a way so that no one loses their home while trying to find the culprit responsible for the mayhem in the family. When Annada is attacked, the family is left shocked and devastated.
Investigating further, Indrani finds some surprising reports among Laboni’s things and tries to restore data from Sougata’s hard drive, hoping to find a clue. Meanwhile, hoping to unearth the mystery behind Laboni’s death, she takes the medical reports and meets her father, asking her about Laboni’s death and informing him that Sujato had acknowledged the unborn baby as his own. She asks him why Sujato has taken the responsibility of his bookstore and that of Laboni’s wellbeing when she was alive, if she was indeed having an affair, and this results in Laboni’s father throwing Indrani out of the house.

The mystery isn’t solved after digging deeper, though, and Indrani asks Sujato the truth directly, but he refuses to answer. As the truth seems too hard to get by, Mihir is attacked, and a burning husk with datura seeds is thrown into Indrani’s room. Indrani’s investigation picks up steam after this, and she talks to Koushani’s husband and learns that she might have already been pregnant before they got married. That night, Sujato is arrested for Sougata and Laboni’s murder.
Who is the killer?
As Sougata is arrested, the desperate family members try to stop him from being taken away. In the end, Sujato’s uncle finally confesses to the murders. As it turns out, it’s the women in the Dasgupta family who have tried to stop Indrani from entering the house since they have known everything from the start.

As it turns out, it was Sougata who started this mess. He had an attraction for Laboni from the start, and to get his hands on her, he started to poison his brother against his new wife, hoping to get close to her as a result. Sougata then introduced Charu to Sujato, hoping that he’d start an affair. However, Charu was attracted to Sougata, and to win his affection, she agreed to start an affair with his brother. In the end, Sougata got Laboni pregnant and created the scheme to throw her out.
However, Sujato didn’t kill Sougata; it was their uncle who was forced to kill Laboni after Sougata threatened to throw them out. Unfortunately, the deed didn’t end the blackmail, which forced their uncle to kill Sougata once and for all. Interestingly enough, it was the uncle and aunt who killed Charu as well, fearful that she might tell the police something that would turn them into suspects. The datura was sourced from their ayurvedic store.
So, who is Bulbuli’s father? As it turns out, it’s Sougata who had raped her. Even though they tried to marry her off, her pregnancy alerted her in-laws, and they sent her back home. Thankfully, Bulbuli and Mihir stopped Sougata from torturing Koushani.
