Hotel Costiera Ending Explained
Former US Marine Daniel De Luca comes back to Italy to work as a fixer for a wealthy hotel. He deals with the hotel’s wealthy guests while he is searching for Alice, one of the owner’s daughters. He had interacted with her on a few occasions and was enamoured by her. In the meantime, when Sheryl’s husband goes missing at sea, Daniel takes up the case to find him.
However, before long, Daniel gets the drone footage that Sheryl mentions and finds Aaron in a cave, having toppled over from his boat and left to fend for himself. The interesting part, though, comes from Daniel talking to Sheryl and ultimately finding a clue about Alice – a picture of Sheryl and Aaron in a Naples bar showcases Alice in the background and further inspection results in him finding out that she might have been kidnapped.

He goes out to find the bar and talk to the staff, but doesn’t get anything concrete until one of them remembers Alice with Adele, leaving Daniel stumped. She confesses to having helped Alice get some freedom and do something with her life, having helped her with some money. However, now that she might be kidnapped, things get a bit too serious. Daniel finally gets a small break after getting into the CCTV of the bar and finds a clearer image of the man Alice hung out with.
Who is the mystery man? Does he hurt Alice?

We figure out in episode 2 that Bruno, the mystery man, didn’t hurt Alice, as she incapacitated him and ran away. However, he does eventually tell Daniel that Alice’s father kicked her out, and that’s why she left home. Upon further investigation with Bruno, Daniel learns about a closed restaurant called Marinela, which the sisters frequented with their mother. Daniel finally finds her, but by then, Alice is kidnapped by a bunch of other people. As it turns out, he betrayed Daniel and informed these unknown men about Alice’s location.

Who are the men? Why did they kidnap Alice?
Funnily enough, it comes out later that the kidnappers didn’t want Alice but Adele. But now that they have the wrong sister, they try to adapt by trying to use Alice to blackmail Adele. It doesn’t work as neither Alice nor Adele takes the bait.

Is she safe in the end?
Bruno tells Daniel where they might find Alice, and Daniel eventually breaks into the “castle” to run into Alice. They eventually make a run for it, but are captured by the kidnappers, who ask Daniel to swap an invaluable necklace for a fake that he has made, or else they will kill Alice.
Daniel eventually goes undercover to win the necklace at the auction since it’s impossible to steal it. However, they are outbid as well, and just as they enact plan B, which is breaking the case and running with it, Sherry arrives to buy it for Daniel. In the end, Daniel gets Alice and the necklace back safe and sound after he swaps the original one with the fake, and everyone has a happy reunion.
