Black White and Gray Ending Explained
The series starts with reporter Daniel Gray conducting interviews for a serial killing case from a few years ago. The interviewees consist of the investigating police officers, the accused’s parents and friends who were directly involved in the shocking situation. We cut between the different people who give us a thorough breakdown of the incidents from their perspective. The series doesn’t specify the names of the accused and his girlfriend’s names, so we will mention them as The Accused and The Victim, respectively.
Is The Accused a serial killer? Whom did he murder?

The Accused has always held on to the fact that whatever happened to him was a series of bad decisions and misfortunes that ended up with people getting murdered. He started off with The Victim, who fell down from the second story of a love motel during a police raid and was unconscious for some time. He put her body in the trunk of his car, thinking that she had died and realised that a random guy he was giving a lift to, Sudhir Chauhan, had seen the body. However, during their struggle, The Victim wakes up and kills Sudhir to save her boyfriend, which another young local films.
The two give chase to his boy, and he ends up running him over as well. Later on, Sunny goes in search of Sudhir, while The Victim’s politician father hires Rao to hunt the two down. In the end, Sunny dies at the hands of locals who try to find The Accused and get the cash prize allotted for giving his information, and Rao makes it appear as if The Accused did it.
In the end, the words of the The Accused go against those of everyone involved in the matter. The Accused confesses that it was The Victim’s father who was behind everything, as he didn’t want the truth of his daughter romancing their driver’s son to come to light. He wanted The Accused to die and paint him as a serial killer and keep the truth under wraps. However, the others tell a different tale — that The Accused is actually a psychopath who wanted to harm The Victim and went on a killing spree afterwards.

What does the ending mean?
While Daniel Gray leaves everything up to the viewers by only bringing the facts to light, he showcases footage of The Accused hurriedly hiding The Victim’s top while everyone else was out of the room. However, that would go against everything that he mentioned till now, since he had accused Rao of killing The Victim and trying (and failing) to kill him. So, how would he get hold of that top? This makes us doubt The Accused’s account of events. The series leaves it somewhat ambiguous, but it’s clear that he had murdered The Victim, or had something to do with it, if not anyone else.

Why are you giving spoilers?? You are just supposed to review.
Hi, this isn’t a review article 🙂
The thing of the red top confused me too. But now after reading you i think that maybe the girl didn’t die and is living with jim… kinda the bullets were not fatal, he could recover the body alive, he cured and they are living together. It’s a very weird theory but ir came to mind.
I think someone was watching from the wall behind. In last scene it’s evident if you watch closely !
