Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 6 Recap

Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 7 Review

In this episode, fans were treated to the return of some of the most beloved characters from the Bleach series. The episode kicks off with a bold entrance from Grimmjow, who greets his long-time rival, Ichigo, with his signature cocky attitude. Naturally, Grimmjow immediately challenges Ichigo, eager to settle their unfinished business from before. However, before he can strike, another familiar figure makes her appearance—none other than Nelliel, who arrives in her mature form, switching between her adult and child states, thanks to Urahara’s handy abilities.

But it’s not just the Arrancars making a comeback. The Fullbringers, Riruka and Yukio, also join the fray, lending their support to the soul reapers. This episode offers a hefty dose of nostalgia that long-time fans are sure to appreciate, as beloved characters unite once again to face a common enemy, setting the stage for an epic battle that promises to be unforgettable.

Meanwhile, back in the Seireitei, the situation grows tense as the effort to open a gate to the Soul King’s palace proves challenging due to a lack of sufficient spiritual energy. Fortunately, Mayuri steps in with his ingenious inventions to bridge the gap. The key soul reapers gear up for a confrontation against one of their most formidable adversaries yet, with Kyoraku vowing not to let Ukitake’s sacrifice be in vain.

Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 7 Review And Recap

Right after everyone arrives to challenge the new king, small groups get formed, and all scatter to rush towards the palace where Yhwach is supposed to be. Bazz-B and his group separate themselves from the soul reapers, whereas Mayuri is nowhere to be seen. Apparently, he made sure to make another gate so that he exclusively could enter this place without anyone’s disturbance. However, hilariously, Zaraki and his squad took this gate as well, as they missed the previous one because they were taking a bathroom break.

This segment gave us a good laugh, but things become very serious when Kyoraku’s group gets targeted by Barro, fatally injuring many soul reapers. On the other hand, Ichigo’s group, specifically Grimmjow, comes face to face with Askin, who is not thrilled to be there. After witnessing Grimmjow running after him like a madman, Askin takes off trying to escape his clutches while claiming he wants to kill them but sneakily without being in trouble.

Grimmjow and Askin’s interaction was very funny, and it will be interesting to see how their fight goes in future episodes. However, the highlight of today’s episode was definitely the clash between Renji and Uryu. Renji is not very well known in the fandom as someone reliable enough to defeat his enemies. But, here, he truly shows the progress that we have not seen before. Whatever the result of the battle was, one thing is for certain, we should not take Renji’s new bankai for granted.
