This episode opens with Taiyo critically injured and being cared for at the Yozakura residence. He has been attacked by a mysterious man who also possesses the Yozakura family ring. With no one left to protect herself and Taiyo, Mutsumi makes a drastic decision to use her blood, which acts like a powerful doping agent.
