I have tried my best to keep the review as spoiler-free as possible, but there are certain elements that I had to mention to give proper feedback.

Solo Leveling Episode 10 Review and Recap: Jinwoo Easily The Clears Dungeons

Solo Leveling Episode 10 Review: Jinwoo Is Getting Targetted

The episode starts with Juhee asking our hero to go on a date with her, but it doesn’t go as romantic as you might think. She expresses how she feels Jinwoo has become very different from how he used to be, which is normal because of all the traumatic experiences he had.

She has no idea that the man in front of her has killed humans, and something like this will definitely have a bad effect on anyone, even Jinwoo. But what came as a shock was the things she said later. Even though it was not something I expected, I believe that it was the right decision on her part as she truly is not very emotionally stable enough to go on high-stakes missions.

But things are only starting to get busy in Jinwoo’s Life. Finally, his and Jinho’s makeshift guild has begun their missions, which is essentially a 2 man job. On top of that, they even hired a bunch of people who were clearly either not interested in the mission or were too unfit for it. But their duty is only to wait outside the dungeon while Jinwoo wipes the whole dungeon single-handedly.

And what is the role of Jinho? He is the mining expert who is there to collect crystals. It is very ironic how power could even make the son of a millionaire do things he otherwise would not.

But just because everything is set, does not mean Jinwoo is out of problems. His troubles are just beginning, as many have started to suspect his growth. The fact that he has managed to survive almost all the fatal situations that have caused huge casualties in recent times is not a joke. Plus, he also got associated with the death of Hwang Dongsuk, who happens to be the brother of an S-ranked hunter.

Jinwoo realises that even outside the dungeon, he needs to be vigilant as his enemies are not limited to just monsters. Thus, it is all the more important for him to become more powerful than ever and level up as soon as possible.

But in this episode, we saw another interesting side of Jinwoo. Perhaps it is thanks to his intelligence skill, but Jinwoo really swindled the heck out of someone who tried to one-up him.

Verdict

All in all, this was another very interesting episode which focused on Jinwoo’s character growth. It also shows how Jinwoo, who previously would have loved to live a more normal life, has his eyes set on just one goal, and that is to level up. Right now, he only wants power to survive in his harsh world.
