Flex X Cop Episode 2 Preview: The new series directed by Kim Jae-hong, known for his hits Revenant and written by Kim Ba-da, who is well known for her successful series My Name, is highly welcomed in the Kdrama world. The exceptional collab between the famous director and the writer stars famous actors, Ahn Bo-hyun, Park Ji-hyun, Kang Sang-jun and Kim Shin-bi, in the lead roles. It’s a mix of action, romance, comedy and thriller genres, making the whole watch worthwhile.

Ahn Bo-hyun’s last venture was See You In My 19th Life (2023), Park Ji-hyun was last seen in Reborn Rich (2022), Kang Sang-jun’s ongoing series is Marry My Husband (2024) and Kim Shin-bi’s last work was Revenant (2023).

Jin Yi-soo, born into a third-generation conglomerate, enjoys a life of abundance, devoid of the need for assistance from others. His world takes an unexpected turn when he becomes embroiled in a complex case. Driven by the desire for a new challenge, Jin Yi-soo makes a surprising decision.

Opting to immerse himself in the gritty world of crime-solving, Jin Yi-soo joins the Kangha Police Station’s violent investigative team, specialists in apprehending robbers. His motivation is to leverage his wealth and personal connections to make a difference in the field. In this venture, he partners with Detective Lee Kang-hyun, a dedicated and adept investigator known for his smooth-talking skills.

The dynamics between Jin Yi-soo and Detective Lee Kang-hyun unfold as they navigate their roles as partners in the pursuit of justice. Despite Yi-soo’s affluent background, Kang Hyun remains indifferent to his presence, setting the stage for a compelling partnership rooted in the pursuit of solving crimes and bringing perpetrators to justice. As they delve into the intricacies of their work, the narrative promises a blend of wealth, intrigue, and the challenges inherent in the world of criminal investigation.

Flex X Cop Episode 2 Indian Release Date and Time

The South Korean TV series episodes will air from January 26, 2024, each with a runtime of 70 minutes. Episode 2 of the series will air on January 27 on Disney+ Hotstar at 8:30 pm.

In the next episode, we will see how Yi-soo will pester his three teammates. More cases will be shown where we can see how the four detectives work together to solve it. Along with that, we will discover the haunting past of Yi-soo and the relationship he has with his father. Details regarding his father and his elder brother will also be shown as they have a pivotal role in the series. Mostly there’ll be lots of bickering between Yi-soo and Kang-hyun which will be hilarious to watch.

Flex X Cop Episode 1 Recap

The episode kicks off with Yi-soo at a mysterious location, eyeing a man before a gunshot rings out, leaving viewers in suspense. However, the scene transitions to Yi-soo waking up, showcasing his affluent and carefree lifestyle. The narrative shifts gears when he receives a message about a kidnapping case, prompting him to don a SWAT uniform and engage in a staged operation at a mall, orchestrated by his assistant for entertainment.

Meanwhile, three dedicated cops—Kang-hyun, Jun-young, and Kyung-jin—are introduced, chasing a murderer. After apprehending a suspect, they realize he’s just an alibi, and the real criminal remains at large. Employing strategy, they make the alibi set a meeting with the elusive killer, setting the stage for an impending arrest. Simultaneously, Yi-soo, after a night of partying, checks on his friend Hyung-wan, discovering him intoxicated. Amidst this, a twist unfolds as Hyung-wan inadvertently becomes the target of the killer the cops are pursuing.

As the killer pursues Hyung-wan, Yi-soo, dressed as a cop, becomes entangled in the chase. Kang-hyun, one of the cops, witnesses the pursuit, leading to a misunderstanding that results in Yi-soo’s arrest. Despite his attempts to explain and Hyung-wan’s conflicting statement, Yi-soo finds himself in jail, causing ripples in his father’s election campaign. Determined to uncover the truth, Kang-hyun investigates the arrest spot, discovering crucial evidence that unravels the real story.

In an unexpected turn, Kang-hyun decides to support Yi-soo’s narrative during a press conference, claiming he was capturing the culprit and announcing his entrance into the police force. The announcement sparks anticipation and concern among Kang-hyun’s team, unsure of what to expect from the affluent newcomer. When Yi-soo arrives at the police station, he makes a grand entrance, leaving Kang-hyun and her team both frustrated and intrigued by the unexpected turn of events.
