Welcome to Samdal-ri Episode 5 Recap

Words of Yong-pil and Sam-dal’s argument spread over town as the people begin wondering who broke up with whom all those years back. Meanwhile, Sang-do tries to find out how the tension between the two is at the moment. Elsewhere, a signing ceremony in the nearby town brings a reporter and Jin-dal’s ex-husband to the event.

This results in Jin-dal coming face-to-face with her ex-husband for a moment which leaves her cursing her luck. On the other hand, the reporter tries to get a scoop by getting a report on Sam-dal, only to be blocked by Yong-pil and Sang-do. However, he does stop there and tries to ask about her from nearby people.

This leads all four of Sam-dal’s friends to land in the police station after Gyeong-tae breaks the reporter’s camera. She too arrives there and overhears Gyeong-tae revealing his true feelings of feeling proud in what she has achieved which clears the misunderstanding that she had. The five friends later spend the evening together and get closer than before.

The next day, Yong-pil sees Sang-do getting closer to Sam-dal.
