The Asian counterpart of the Oscars has commenced at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on December 14 as the 2023 Asia Artist Awards winners are being announced at this grand affair in the Philippines for the first time ever. The 2023 아시아 아티스트 어워즈, i.e. the 8th edition of the annual ceremony also marks for one of the most highly awaited year-end celebration of the talent that graced the big and small screens this year. Asian celebrities, primarily from the Hallyu sphere convened at this grand affair, that is being hosted by Kang Daniel, IVE’s Jang Wonyoung and ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Hanbin.
In addition to the masses’ favourite Korean stars, renowned figures from the Chinese, Japanese and Filipino entertainment industry have also graced today’s event, making it the first for Filipino music acts Hori7on, Ben&Ben and SB19 to be a part of the esteemed AAA 2023 lineup. Presented by Star News, TONZ Entertainment, Asia Artists Awards Organising Committee and PULP Live World, the main show kicked off at 4 PM KST, following in suit after the star-studded red carpet event. Both segments of the Asia Artist Awards 2023 were livestreamed by Hulu in Japan, Lazada Philippines in the Philippines and Weverse globally (except for Japan, Vietnam and the Philippines).
