My Demon Teaser: Unexpected Allure as Kim Yoo-jung and Song Kang Unite in a Pact

K-drama fantasy series have always been one of the most beloved among fans, often inspiring people to dream of experiencing such a fantasy romance in their own lives. Netflix has finally released the My Demon teaser today, on October 30, 2023. Hallyu wave fans are incredibly excited to see Kim Yoon-Jung and Song Kang together, as they are not only visually stunning but also known for delivering captivating performances that give viewers butterflies.

My Demon Kdrama unfolds the tale of a contractual union between Do Do-hee (portrayed by Kim Yoo-jung), the spirited heiress of a corporate empire, and Jung Gu-won (played by Song Kang), a supernatural being who experiences a temporary forfeiture of his powers. This transient vulnerability grants them a taste of ephemeral joy, only to eventually steer them towards a tumultuous fate.

The teaser starts with Do-hee saying that she needs to let go of the man’s hand, who is a demon, if she wants to live. But all of this is because of that name, Gu-won. She might have some history with that name, but while saying his name, the power of the demon gets exchanged between them. Gu-won wants to know what she did with him, as the tattoo that provided him with the power of the demon appears on Do-hee’s hand, and the power is transferred. She slaps him, having saved his life from drowning, but he still cares about the tattoo.

He then confesses that he is a devil, which she doesn’t want to believe and makes fun of. She then asks him to be her bodyguard, or she will remove the tattoo with a laser. He agrees, becoming the bodyguard of the demonic human. As they are bound by this pact, they stay close to each other, and it will be interesting to see how the romance will blossom.
