These ladies can be so ruthless, cunning and manipulative that you might not even notice their true self at first. But when they do start to play the game, no one can stand in their way. Here, we will discuss 6 such evil characters for you to discover during this Halloween season.
Best Evil Female Anime Characters
Esdeath
Esdeath of Akame ga Kill is a manipulative woman who is the leader of Jaegers appointed by the Prime Minister himself. She becomes obsessed with Tatsumi without even knowing that he is part of the Revolutionary Army.
She is sadistic and ruthless as she believes that weak people do not deserve to live, based on her father’s teachings. Weirdly, her malice does not show at times, and she is a capable leader when the situation calls for it.
Lust
Those who have watched the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime series know very well how cruel Lust can be. She was the only female homunculi, and she effectively utilised her appearance to make others do her bidding.
Throughout the series, we see her as one of the most sadistic characters who takes pleasure in torturing her victims. Though her name is Lust, and she represents that quality, we rarely see her lust for others. On the contrary, she does carry a bloodlust that makes her one of the most evil characters in anime history.
Rize Kamishiro
Rize was practically the reason the story of Tokyo Ghoul began. She was the one who wanted to eat Kaneki and lured him with her beauty but got crushed instead and died.
From the stories of her past, we know that she was a binge eater who would feed on humans even when she did not need to. She was also someone who followed her appetite more than her mind and would land her fellow ghouls in problems because of her actions.
She was a bloodthirsty serial killer who utilised her beauty to attack her prey as she tried with Kaneki.
Neferpitou
Though we do not know the actual gender of Pitou, she is widely considered a female, and we will take that theory and go with it. Pitou or Neferpitou from Hunter x Hunter is a humanoid cat like Chimera Ant, the firstborn amongst the Chimera Ant King’s three Royal Guards.
Pitou is loyal and playful, but when it is needed, she can be vicious and evil. Her treatment of Pokkle after finding him in a pile of bones still haunts many.
Yuno Gasai
When we search for yandere anime characters, it is no surprise that Yuno Gasai comes at the front every time. This iconic character is the main female protagonist of the immensely famous Future Diary anime series, but the things she does are mostly morally wrong and questionable.
Being a yandere, Yuno is obsessed with Yuki and can go to any lengths for her beloved. And by any lengths, I mean even killing anyone who she thinks is a hindrance to her and Yuki’s relationship.
But we must also keep in mind how cruel, cunning and absolutely badass she is in the anime. In many instances, she is the one who saves Yuki from being killed by others.
Ragyo Kiryūin
I could have selected Satsuki for this list, but I opted to choose her mother, Ragyo, because of how much more evil she is than her older daughter. Ragyo is the CEO and head of Revocs Corporation and Honnōji Academy in the anime Kill la Kill.
Ragyo is an ambitious and vain woman who has no grievance about sacrificing her younger daughter for the sake of her experiments. She is also sadistic and ruthless as when she finds out her husband has betrayed her, she assassinates him to steal his newest invention.
Lucy
Lucy is more of a tragic character who happens to become an evil entity because of how society treats her. She is actually the Diclonius queen who has the ability to utilise invisible hands to destroy everything.
She also suffers from multiple personality disorders, where each of her personalities has its own aspects. Her original personality is of a depressed and distrustful person who got bullied and discriminated against all her life. After her dog gets brutally killed, she develops a deep-seated hatred for humans and understands how she won’t be able to live amongst them. Later, we witness her murdering many humans both innocent and vicious, mercilessly.

Shiro
Shiro is another character who does not know that she is evil. She might come off as an innocent and bubbly young woman, but her second personality, the Red Man, is the main antagonist of Deadman Wonderland. She developed this personality to cope with deadly and torturous experiments done on her body.
They would tear her limbs and sew them back, and these hellish tortures and unimaginable pain birthed the second personality that is sadistic and evil in nature. As the Red Man, Shiro is hateful and heartless, killing many humans and, most importantly, Ganta’s friends for her ultimate goals.
